Laibach is a Slovenian and Yugoslav avant-garde music group associated with the industrial, martial, and neo-classical genres. Formed in the mining town of Trbovlje in 1980, Laibach represents the musical wing of the Neue Slowenische Kunst (NSK) collective, a group which Laibach helped found in 1984.

She won the Levstik Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2011.

He was educated in Ljubljana, Algiers and Buffalo, receiving his BA (1975) and MA degrees (1980) in Media Studies at the State University of New York, Buffalo. She first garnered wide recognition while competing to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 for Slovenia during the national final Evrovizijska Melodija (EMA) with the song "Črno bel", where she placed second. Raiven went on to return to EMA in 2017, placing third with the song "Zažarim", and has competed again in 2019 with the song "Kaos", placing second.
