Borys Protsenko (born August 21, 1978) is a Ukrainian former professional ice hockey player and a Russian amateur scout for the NHL's Dallas Stars.
Protsenko was drafted 1st overall by the Calgary Hitmen in the 1995 CHL Import Draft. A year later, he was drafted in the third round of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins, selected 77th overall. Although Protsenko never played for the Pittsburgh Penguins, he did spend two years with the Penguins' AHL affiliate in Syracuse and Wilkes-Barre and an additional year with the Penguins' ECHL affiliate in Wheeling.
Protsenko spent the next two seasons splitting time in Russia and with the Ukraine National Team. He started the 2003-04 season with Sokil Kyiv, but later returned to the United States and joined the Fresno Falcons. Protsenko was recalled by the Houston Aeros on January 16, 2004 [1] but was returned to the Falcons less than a week later. [2] Protsenko finished the season with the South Carolina Stingrays.
Protsenko played the next three seasons in Belarus, Russia, and the Ukraine and retired after the completion of the 2006-07 season. Since his retirement, Protsenko has been the Russian amateur scout for the Dallas Stars. [3]

Jason Drandon Botterill is a Canadian former professional ice hockey left winger and executive who is currently serving as an assistant general manager of the Seattle Kraken of the National Hockey League (NHL). Botterill was the former associate GM of the Pittsburgh Penguins before serving as general manager of the Buffalo Sabres from May 11, 2017 to June 16, 2020.
Kyle Brodziak is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre. He previously played for the Edmonton Oilers, Minnesota Wild and St. Louis Blues. He was selected in the seventh round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, 214th overall, by the Oilers after being passed over in the 2002 draft.

James Edward Nill is a Canadian former ice hockey player and the current general manager of the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL). Nill played in the NHL throughout the 1980s with the St. Louis Blues, Vancouver Canucks, Boston Bruins, Winnipeg Jets, and Detroit Red Wings, retiring in 1990. Prior to making his NHL debut Nill also played for Canada at the 1980 Winter Olympics. He worked as a scout for the Ottawa Senators before joining the Red Wings in an executive role in 1994, staying with the team before moving to take up the general manager role with Dallas in 2013.
The Pittsburgh Penguins 2006–07 season was rife with potential, as the team featured one of the largest groups of young stars in the National Hockey League (NHL). Evgeni Malkin, the second overall pick in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, came to the United States from Russia prior to the season and joined the team. He promptly became the first NHL rookie since 1917 to score goals in each of his first six games. Malkin and second-year phenom Sidney Crosby were joined by 18-year-old Jordan Staal, who made the jump directly from the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) to the Penguins roster after being drafted second overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. The Penguins also brought back Mark Recchi via free agency, giving Recchi his third stint with the team. It would also be the first season the team would have involving defenceman and soon-to-be alternate captain Kris Letang.
Todd R. Reirden is an American professional ice hockey coach and former player. He is the associate coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously held head coaching positions for the Washington Capitals in the NHL and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in the American Hockey League (AHL). Reirden played in the NHL for the St. Louis Blues, Phoenix Coyotes, Atlanta Thrashers, and Edmonton Oilers.

Sprong was originally selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the second round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft after playing two seasons with the Charlottetown Islanders of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), and made the Penguins immediately after being drafted, though he would return to the QMJHL and play two more seasons with the Islanders. He played parts of four seasons with Pittsburgh and their American Hockey League affiliate before being traded to the Anaheim Ducks in 2018, where he spent two seasons before being traded to the Washington Capitals in 2020. He was traded to Seattle in 2022.
