BottleRocket Entertainment was a third-party video game developer founded by Jay Beard (previously head of San Diego Studio), composed primarily of former San Diego Studio employees and animators. Many of them worked on The Mark of Kri before the studio was formed.
BottleRocket Entertainment was developing Splatterhouse, a beat'em up title in the Splatterhouse franchise by Namco Bandai, but was removed from the project after an unspecified "performance issue" caused a split. Several former BottleRocket employees accepted new positions within Namco Bandai continuing their work on the title. [1]
BottleRocket Entertainment was reported to be developing a licensed title for Brash Entertainment, which was cancelled when Brash went out of business. A source in Kotaku revealed the game to be DC Comics character The Flash. Footage of the cancelled title was posted on YouTube by a former employee of BottleRocket Entertainment.
Jay Beard announced in an email to Kotaku that, "after fighting to keep the doors open for the past six months we have decided to close and move on." [2] The company was officially closed on September 3, 2009, and Beard is reported to be "building a new development studio from the ground up." [2] Beard currently works as an art director for Amazon Game Studios.

Monolith Software Inc., trading as Monolith Soft, is a Japanese video game development studio originally owned by Namco until being bought out by Nintendo in 2007. The company was founded in 1999 by Tetsuya Takahashi with the support and cooperation of Masaya Nakamura, the founder of Namco. Their first project was the Xenosaga series, a spiritual successor to the Square-developed Xenogears. Multiple Square staff would join Takahashi at Monolith Soft including Hirohide Sugiura and Yasuyuki Honne.

Splatterhouse is a horror-themed beat 'em up hack and slash video game developed by Namco Bandai Games and Namco Networks America and published by Namco Bandai Games under the Namco label, released in 2010 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is a reimagining and a reboot of the original Splatterhouse which was released in 1988. Splatterhouse received mixed reviews. While its graphics, soundtrack and voice acting were praised, it was criticised for its controls, difficulty, glitches and repetitive gameplay.
Muscle March is an action video game developed and published by Namco Bandai Games for the Wii through the WiiWare service. It was released in Japan in 2009 and in North America and PAL regions in 2010. Players control one of seven different bodybuilders and try to catch a thief that has stolen their bodybuilding friends' tub of protein powder. Its gameplay is similar to Hole In The Wall, where players use the Wiimote and Nunchuck to perform specific bodybuilder poses to pass through corresponding holes in walls left by the thief.

Klonoa is a side-scrolling platform video game for the Wii developed by Paon and published by Namco Bandai Games. It is a remake of the 1997 PlayStation game Klonoa: Door to Phantomile, the first game in the Klonoa series, updating the game with fully 3D graphics, additional content, and gameplay changes. It was released in Japan in December 2008 and in North America and Europe in May 2009.
