Boultham Park is a public park in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England. Originally the park for the Boultham Hall, it was purchased in 1929 by the City of Lincoln Council, and opened as a public park for the people of Lincoln. The house was demolished in 1959. The park is Grade II listed. [1] [2]
The park includes a 13th-century church dedicated to Saint Helen. This was restored by C. Hodgson Fowler in 1887. [3] Part of a group parish with nearby Holy Cross parish, which was built when the needs of the parish outgrew St Helen's. St Helen's is now used only occasionally for services. [4] Outside the church is a memorial to the Crimean war, erected in 1858. [5]
A play area, designed with help from children from nearby St Francis school opened in 2011. [6] [7]
A five-year refurbishment plan was drawn up by the City Council and the Lincolnshire learning disability charity, Linkage Community Trust, and £2.7 million of lottery funding obtained. The plan is to restore and convert the former stable block into an education centre, open a cafe/shop, and build a horticulture centre. Work started in autumn 2013, with initial emphasis on community involvement in improving the park. [2] [8]
A Parkrun takes place in the park every Saturday morning.
A regular summer fair is held, [9] which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2011. [10]

Horncastle is a town and civil parish in the East Lindsey district in Lincolnshire, 17 miles (27 km) east of Lincoln. Its population was 6,815 at the 2011 census and estimated at 7,123 in 2019. A section of the ancient Roman walls remains.

It lies about 3 miles (5 km) north of Mablethorpe on the North Sea coast. The National Grid-owned Theddlethorpe Gas Terminal processes natural gas from the North Sea. Some seashore belongs to Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe Dunes National Nature Reserve, consisting of sea dunes and saltwater and freshwater marshes. It is one of five UK locations where the natterjack toad is found. In 2011 the parish had a population of 525. The parish touches Gayton Le Marsh, Mablethorpe and Sutton, Theddlethorpe All Saints and Withern with Stain. Theddlethorpe St Helen shares a parish council with Theddlethorpe All Saints.
Corby Glen is a village and civil parish in the South Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England. It is approximately 9 miles (14 km) south-east of the market town of Grantham and 8 miles (13 km) north west of Bourne.

Donington is a large village and civil parish in the South Holland district of Lincolnshire, England. It is 8 miles (13 km) north from the market town of Spalding on the A152, is bypassed by the A52, and sits between the A16 and A17. The parish includes the hamlet of Northorpe, and falls within the drainage area of the Black Sluice Internal Drainage Board. Donington is the birthplace of the explorer Matthew Flinders.

The Lincoln Arboretum is an 22 acres (8.8 ha) park in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England. The park has two ponds and varied tree cover, and was designed and laid out between 1870 and 1872 by the celebrated Victorian gardener Edward Milner. The arboretum is a park of grade II importance.
