The Bounce Festival is a music and arts festival in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, in Plumas County, California. Presented by The Bounce, LLC and Fresh Bakin', the two entities host a variety of music and special events year round in the Lake Tahoe, Sacramento, and Reno, NV area.

The Bounce and Fresh Bakin' producers aim to create community while blurring the lines between musical genres. Highlights include integrated Installation Art, Live Painting by local and international artists, a movement and wellness village with workshops and yoga, a variety of craft and food vendors, and a river.

History

The Big Bounce debuted in Belden, CA in 2009 with headliners Bassnectar and Fort Knox Five. Event producers formulated The Bounce, LLC in 2011 and created The Bounce Festival with Fresh Bakin'. The event remained in Belden until they expanded the event to a larger private Plumas County location in 2013. [1]

The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival is an American annual four-day music festival developed and produced by Superfly Presents and AC Entertainment. Since its first year in 2002, it has been held at what is now Great Stage Park on a 700-acre (283 km2) farm in Manchester, Tennessee. The festival typically starts on the second Thursday in June and lasts four days. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 festival was initially postponed to September 24-27, but was ultimately cancelled altogether. Main attractions of this festival are the multiple stages featuring live music with a diverse array of musical styles including indie rock, classic rock, world music, hip hop, jazz, Americana, bluegrass, country music, folk, gospel, reggae, pop, electronic, and other alternative music. Musical acts begin Wednesday evening for early arrivers, continued throughout the festival with performances starting each day around noon, and some stages entertaining festival goers until sunrise.

Lee Soo-man is a South Korean record producer and executive, best known as the founder of SM Entertainment, a multinational entertainment company based in Seoul, South Korea. He has also been referred to as the "president of culture", as he pioneered the Korean Wave. Lee debuted as a singer in 1971, while he was a student at Seoul National University. Bounce music is a style of New Orleans hip hop music which is said to have originated as early as the late 1980s in the city's housing projects. Popular bounce artists have included DJ Jubilee, Partners-N-Crime, Magnolia Shorty and Big Freedia.

Shambala Festival

The Shambala Festival is a four-day festival contemporary performing arts that takes place in Northamptonshire, England. In addition to contemporary music, the festival hosts rock, pop, folk, world music, and other arts.
