Jamelia Niela Davis is a British singer, actress and television personality. She has released three studio albums, each of which has reached the Top 40 in the UK, which collectively have spawned eight UK top-ten singles. In addition, Jamelia has won four MOBO Awards, a Q Award and has received nine BRIT Award nominations.
"Why Don't We Fall in Love" is a song written and produced by Rich Harrison for American R&B singer Amerie's debut album, All I Have (2002). Released as the album's lead single in the United Kingdom in October 2001 and in the United States in July 2002. After being sent to US Urban/Urban AC, Top 40 and Rhythmic radio in April 2002, the song reached number twenty-three on the Billboard Hot 100 and became a top ten hit on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. It performed moderately elsewhere, peaking at number forty in the United Kingdom and number seventy-three in Australia. The song is also used for the promo of the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless. It is also one of the songs used in the American version of Donkey Konga 2. Part of the lyrics, along with the background music, was sampled in the song "Rule the World" by 2 Chainz and Ariana Grande and No Fake Love by Queen Naija and YoungBoy Never Broke Again.

Drama is the debut studio album by English singer-songwriter Jamelia. It was released by Parlophone Records on 26 June 2000. The album peaked at number 39 on the UK Albums Chart and produced four singles, including the lead single "I Do", "Money", and two further singles, "Call Me" and "Boy Next Door". The album was generally met with mixed reviews.
"I Do" is the second single from British R&B artist Jamelia. "I Do" was the first single from her debut album Drama and was her first UK top 40 hit, peaking at number 36 on the UK Singles Chart. The Spanish Mix has Slum Village rapping on it as well as a UK rapper named Dubwise. The track was originally remixed with only Dubwise rapping.
"Money" is the a song by British R&B singer Jamelia, released as the second single from her debut album, Drama (2000), on 21 February 2000. Originally, "Thinking 'Bout You" was to be the second single from the album; a video was filmed and promotional copies of the single were sent to radio stations across the UK. That single was cancelled and the video was never released to the public. "Money" was chosen to replace "Thinking 'Bout You" as the second single from Drama.

It also peaked at number 11 on the Irish Singles Chart.
"Stop!" is a song by English singer-songwriter Sam Brown from her debut studio album of the same name (1988). It was released in May 1988 by A&M, and written by Brown, Gregg Sutton and Bruce Brody. "Stop!" reached number 52 on the UK Singles Chart when it was first released. Jamelia described the sound of the song as being more "experimental and not as "R&B" as her previous material." "Something About You" was released as the album's lead single on 11 September 2006.
"He Was Really Sayin' Somethin'" is a soul song written by Motown songwriters Norman Whitfield, William "Mickey" Stevenson, and Edward Holland, Jr. in 1964. The song is notable in both a 1964 version by American Motown girl group the Velvelettes, and a 1982 hit version by British girl group Bananarama.

It was written by Jamelia, Stuart Crichton, Tommy Lee James, and Karen Poole for her third studio album Walk with Me (2006), while production was helmed by Crichton. The song is built around a sample of Depeche Mode's song "Personal Jesus" (1989), written by Martin Gore. "Beware of the Dog" was selected and released as the second single from Walk with Me in December 2006.

A hit single, Surface's version reached number 20 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and number 2 on the Billboard R&B charts in 1987. "Happy" was also featured on Surface's compilation album Perfect 10 and was produced by members Bernard Jackson, David "Pic" Conley and David Townsend.
