Brady Barke is the current director of athletics for Southeast Missouri State University. He previously served as an associate athletic director for Southeast Missouri State. Barke attended college at Southeast Missouri State University, Southern Illinois University, and Webster University. At Webster, Barke played on the school's basketball and golf teams. Barke was named interim athletic director at Southeast Missouri State on August 2, 2015, [1] [2] before being named permanent athletic director on June 8, 2016. [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]

The Battle of Cape Girardeau was a military demonstration of the American Civil War, occurring on April 26, 1863 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The conflict was part of the pursuit of US Brigadier General John McNeil through Southeast Missouri by Confederate Brigadier General John S. Marmaduke. Though the conflict to this day is known as a battle, it was a relatively small engagement whose primary importance was as the turning point that brought General Marmaduke's second Missouri raid to an end.

Southeast Missouri Hospital first opened in 1928 and has grown into a regional medical complex serving over 600,000 people in 22 counties in Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois. In 2007, the hospital had 269 licensed beds, 11,487 admissions and employed over 2,000 people.

James Allen Wooldridge is an American former college basketball coach and athletics administrator. Wooldridge was head coach at Central Missouri State, Texas State, Louisiana Tech, Kansas State, and UC Riverside. After his coaching career, Wooldridge served as athletic director at UC Riverside and Riverside City College.

Scott William Edgar is an American college basketball coach who is currently the men's basketball head coach at Eastern Oklahoma State College. He was formerly head coach at Duquesne University, Murray State University and Southeast Missouri State University.

Richard Milan Godlove was an American football and basketball coach and college athletics administrator. He served as the head football coach at Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kansas from 1936 to 1942 and Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas from 1946 to 1968, compiling a career college football coaching record of 104–55–10. In 1964, he was inducted into the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame and served as the third president of the organization.

Neal Evans Boyd was an American singer who developed an interest in opera after listening to the performances of the Three Tenors. In addition to music, he also became involved in politics and conducted performances at many state-wide events across Missouri.

The Southeast Missouri State Redhawks men's basketball team represents Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Ohio Valley Conference. The Redhawks play their home games at the Show Me Center. Prior to January 2005, the team's nickname was the Indians. Prior to joining NCAA Division I, they participated in the NAIA and NCAA Division II. They were NAIA national champions in 1943.

Mark Alnutt is the current director of athletics for the University at Buffalo. He previously served as athletic director for Southeast Missouri State University, and as assistant athletic director for the University of Memphis and the University of Missouri. Alnutt attended college at the University of Missouri, where he was a three-year letterman on the Missouri Tigers football team, playing linebacker and tight end. Alnutt was named athletic director at the University at Buffalo on March 21, 2018. On May 27, 2021, Alnutt and the University at Buffalo signed a new five-year contract for him to remain as vice president and director of athletics through May 2026.

Beth Goetz is the current director of athletics for Ball State University. She previously served as chief operating officer at the University of Connecticut from 2016 to 2018, as interim athletic director at the University of Minnesota from 2015 to 2016, as a deputy athletic director at the University of Minnesota from 2013 to 2015, as an associate athletic director at Butler University from 2008 to 2013, and as an assistant athletic director at the University of Missouri–St. Louis from 2000 to 2008. Goetz served as head women's soccer coach at the University of Missouri–St. Louis from 1997 to 2007, compiling a record of 120–90–9. Goetz attended college at Brevard College and Clemson University, playing on the school women's soccer team at both schools as a defender or midfielder. Goetz was named athletic director at Ball State University on May 21, 2018.

Nicki Moore, née Webber, is the incoming Meakem Smith Director of Athletics and Physical Education for Cornell University. She currently serves as the athletic director at Colgate University. She previously served as an assistant athletic director at the University of Oklahoma from 2004 to 2010, as an associate athletic director at the University of Oklahoma from 2010 to 2015, and as an associate athletic director at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2015 to 2018. Moore attended college at the University of Missouri, where she competed on the school's track and field team. Moore was named the first female athletic director at Cornell University on November 30, 2022.

Andrew Sawyers is an American college baseball coach and former catcher. Sawyers is the head coach of the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks baseball team.

John Shafer is a former American college athletics administrator. He served as athletic director at the University of Mississippi from 1998 to 2002, at Eastern Kentucky University from 2003 to 2004, and at Southeast Missouri State University from 2008 to 2011. Shafer attended college at Auburn University, where he played on the school's baseball team. Shafer announced his retirement from collegiate athletic administration on June 16, 2011.

Don Kaverman is a former American college athletics administrator. Kaverman served as athletic director at Harris–Stowe State University from 2010 to 2014, as athletic director at Southeast Missouri State University from 1999 to 2008, as athletic director at Missouri Western State University from 1995 to 1999, and as an associate athletic director at San Diego State University from 1988 to 1995. Prior to his career in college athletics administration, Kaverman previously had a career background in sports medicine, serving as head athletic trainer at San Diego State University, coordinator of sports medicine at Ferris State University, conditioning coordinator and assistant athletic trainer for the NFL's Detroit Lions, and assistant athletic trainer at Northwestern University. Kaverman is a graduate of Michigan State University, holding a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in physical education from Michigan State.
