Brandon Woods is an Australian violinist, composer and music producer who is currently based in Brisbane, Queensland. [1] He gained wide attention after the release of his electronic dance music single "Vortex," and winning three gold medals, and three Champion of the World titles, at the World Championships of Performing Arts in July 2016. [2]
Brandon was born in Hervey Bay, Queensland and moved to Brisbane in February, 2016 to pursue his music career and study at university. He graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Music, then moved to Orlando, Florida to work with The Walt Disney Company in 2019. Having returned to Australia in February 2020, he is working on new music for release in late 2020. [2] [ dead link ]
In 2014, at the age of 16, Woods released his debut EP titled Violectricity, which featured five original tracks. [3] After the release of his first record, Brandon gained wide attention throughout Australia and worldwide via his official Facebook page and YouTube channel. By popular demand, he released three digital singles, titled "Pulse Rider," "Cyberfiddle" and "Vortex." [4] [5] Woods released his first music video for his single "Cyberfiddle" on 23 October 2015. Brandon was named a national finalist from the International Worldstars Association in 2015, and was selected to compete in the World Championships of Performing Arts in 2016, held in Long Beach, California. He was awarded with three gold medals for his three performance categories, which were 'Instrumental Original Works,' 'Instrumental Contemporary,' and 'Instrumental Open,' and was also awarded Champion of the World titles for each of the categories. [7] [8] His social media presence and success has since gained him guest appearances on Australia's Got Talent , the Royal Queensland Show, also known as Ekka's, nightly arena show titled EkkaNITES, and Australia-wide radio interviews with ABC and Sea FM. Incubus is an American rock band from Calabasas, California. Violent Soho were an Australian alternative rock band that was formed in 2004 in the Brisbane suburb of Mansfield, Queensland, originally under the name of "showroom". For the majority of the band's existence, the line-up was composed of Luke Boerdam, James Tidswell, Luke Henery and Michael Richards. Their sound has been compared to that of 1980s and 1990s alternative rock bands such as the Pixies, Mudhoney,Smashing Pumpkins, and Nirvana. Although being largely described as grunge, the band self described themselves as a "stoner pop" band. The band's third studio album, Hungry Ghost, was certified Gold in Australia in September 2014. Their fourth album, Waco, debuted at number 1 on the Australian ARIA Charts in 2016. The band's fifth album, Everything Is A-OK, was released on 3 April 2020 and also debuted at number 1 on the ARIA charts.
The Amity Affliction is an Australian post-hardcore band from Gympie, Queensland, formed in 2003. The band's current line-up consists of Joel Birch, Ahren Stringer, Dan Brown (guitar) and Joe Longobardi (drums). The Amity Affliction has released eight studio albums including Severed Ties (2008), Youngbloods (2010), Chasing Ghosts (2012), Let the Ocean Take Me (2014), This Could Be Heartbreak (2016), Misery (2018) and Everyone Loves You... Once You Leave Them (2020). They are known for their highly personal songs, often dealing with depression, anxiety, death, substance abuse, and suicide, many lyrics stemming from vocalist Joel Birch's past struggles. The Amity Affliction released their latest album, Not Without My Ghosts, in 2023.

Heinz Riegler is an Austrian-born artist. He began gaining popularity from his performances and songwriting in the late 1980s. Riegler worked both as a solo artist and a performer. Michael Jackson: One is the second Michael Jackson-based production in Cirque du Soleil's roster, after Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour. It was announced to the public and media on February 21, 2013. In their continuing partnership with the Jackson estate, One evokes the entertainer's artistic style in several manners. The new production began previews on May 23, 2013 and the official world premiere was June 29, 2013 at the Mandalay Bay on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. Like The Immortal World Tour, this production was also written and directed by Jamie King. "Sneak peek" videos were released on the internet revealing numbers of the production, including "2 Bad", "Stranger in Moscow", "Bad", and "Smooth Criminal". However, unlike Immortal, the show only uses prerecorded tracks, with no live orchestra. This show is also the most dance-driven Cirque du Soleil show.

TwoSet Violin is a musical comedy duo consisting of Australian violinists and YouTubers Brett Yang and Eddy Chen. Yang and Chen started out posting classical covers of pop music on their YouTube channel, but eventually switched focus to musical comedy videos, which gained them more viewership. Yang and Chen eventually also performed in live concerts and tours.
