Felipe de Jesús Alvarado Mendoza is a Mexican luchador, or professional wrestler best known by the ring name La Máscara for his time working for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) and was the co-founder and leader of Los Mercenarios.
Jesús Alvarado Nieves was a Mexican luchador, or professional wrestler, who worked under the ring name Brazo de Oro. He was a part of the Alvarado wrestling family, the son of Shadito Cruz and brother of Brazo de Plata, El Brazo, Brazo Cibernético, Super Brazo and Brazo de Platino. His son Felipe de Jesús Alvarado Mendoza currently works as La Máscara for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. His nephews, Máximo Sexy and Psycho Clown are featured wrestlers for CMLL and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide respectively.
Norberto Salgado Salcedo is a retired Mexican luchador, primarily known under the ring name Pierroth Jr. Salgado made his professional wrestling debut on July 1, 1984, working as a luchador enmascarado, or masked wrestler, using the name Pierroth Jr. He lost his mask as a result of losing a Lucha de Apuestas to La Parka in 1998. In the late 1990s Pierroth became known as Comandante Pierroth or simply Pierroth, leader of a faction of pro-Puerto Rican wrestlers in CMLL known as Los Boricuas, notwithstanding him being born in Mexico. After suffering a stroke in November 2008 Salgado retired from wrestling. Several other wrestlers have used the name Pierroth or derivatives there off over the years, with approval from Salgado, currently Pierrothito is the only wrestler actively using the name.
Juan Alvarado Nieves was a Mexican Luchador. He was best known under the ring name El Brazo, which he used since his debut in 1980. Alvarado was part of the Alvarado wrestling family, which includes his father Shadito Cruz, five brothers who used the "Brazo" name at some point and several third-generation wrestlers.
Arturo Beristain is a retired Mexican professional wrestler, or Luchador in Spanish, who works as a wrestling trainer at the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre's (CMLL) gym in Mexico City, Mexico. Beristain is best known for working under two different ring names, Talismán and El Hijo del Gladiador; both personas started out as enmascarados, or masked, and Beristain lost both masks in Luchas de Apuestas. He lost the Talismán mask to Atlantis in 1984 and the Hijo del Gladiador mask to Rencor Latino in 2000. As Talismán, Beristain won the Mexican National Welterweight Championship twice, the Mexican National Middleweight Championship and the Mexican National Lightweight Championship. As el Hijo del Gladiador he has won the CMLL World Trios Championship with Gran Markus, Jr. and Dr. Wagner Jr. and the IWRG Intercontinental Middleweight Championship. When Beristain lost the "Hijo del Gladiador" he was announced as "Arturo Beristain Ramírez" to further the storyline that he was actually the son of wrestler "El Gladiador", but his last name is not actually Ramírez.
Cándido Robles Cruz is a retired Mexican Luchador, or professional wrestler. Cruz is best known under the ring name Gran Markus Jr. and for his work in the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). Cruz originally worked under the name "Tony Benetto" but in the late 1980s he changed to being an enmascarado, or masked wrestler, taking the name Gran Markus Jr. Cruz is not related to wrestler Gran Markus – it is a storyline relationship. Cruz has both teamed with and fought against the original Gran Markus. Cruz lost the "Gran Markus Jr." mask on June 29, 1997 when he lost a Luchas de Apuesta match, or "bet match" to Mil Máscaras.
José Christian Alvarado Ruiz is a Mexican Luchador or professional wrestler, better known by Máximo.
Roberto Rodriguez Aguirre is a Mexican Luchador, or professional wrestler. He works for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) in their Mini-Estrella division under the name Bracito de Oro. Aguirre's real name was not a matter of public record until he was unmasked by Pequeño Black Warrior on April 30, 2010. This is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans and they are only forced to reveal their real name when unmasked. Working in the Mini division does not necessarily mean that Bracito de Oro has dwarfism as several short wrestlers work in the "Mini" division, which is what separates the Mexican Mini-Estrella from traditional Midget wrestling as practiced in the United States and other places. Bracito de Oro is a smaller version of professional wrestler Brazo de Oro.
In January 2010 Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) held five CMLL Super Viernes shows, all of which took place Arena México on Friday nights. CMLL did not hold any special events on Fridays that would force a cancellation such as a pay-per-view (PPV). Some of the matches from Super Viernes are taped for CMLL's weekly shows that air in Mexico the week following the Super Viernes show. Super Viernes often features storyline feud between two wrestlers or group of wrestlers that develop from week to week, often coming to a conclusion at a major CMLL event or in a match on Friday nights between the individuals. In total Super Viernes featured 31 matches in total of which 15 were part of a tournament. 81 wrestlers in total appeared in matches during January, including two women and eleven Mini-Estrella. CMLL only held one match featuring the women's division, a Torneo cibernetico featuring the Mini-Etrellas and four Lightning matches in total. Último Guerrero and Héctor Garza are the only wrestlers to appear on four Super Vierens shows in January, no wrestler appeared on all five shows.
Psycho Clown is the ring name of a Mexican Luchadorenmascarado, or masked professional wrestler currently signed to Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). Psycho Clown's ring character is that of a nightmarish clown and he is part of Los Psycho Circus along with Monster Clown and Murder Clown. Psycho Clown's real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans.

Gloria Alvarado Nava is a Mexican luchadora best known by the ring name Goya Kong for her time working for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). She is the third-generation Luchadora, part of the Alvarado wrestling family as she is the granddaughter of Shadito Cruz and the daughter of José Alvarado Nieves, who worked under the ring name Brazo de Plata. She has several brothers and a sister who are also active wrestlers along with a number of uncles and cousins.
The Alvarado wrestling family, also referred to as La Dinastia Alvarado in Spanish, is a Mexico City based family of professional wrestlers. The family works primarily in Mexico but have made appearances in the United States of America, Canada, Europe, and Japan over the years. The Patriarch of the family was Juan Alvarado Ibarra, who wrestled under the ring name Shadito Cruz, followed by his six sons who all used ring name variations of "Brazo" and included wrestlers Brazo de Oro, El Brazo, Brazo de Plata, Brazo Cibernético, Brazo de Platino and Super Brazo. A third-generation of Alvardos made their debut around the turn of the millennium, originally all working under "Brazo" related ring names but later most changed their names to create an identity for themselves. Due to the traditions and secrecy of Lucha Libre some wrestlers who use the "Brazo" ring name are not blood relatives of the Alvarado family and others is unconfirmed if they are truly part of the Alvarado family or not. Due to the number of wrestlers using ring names with the word "Brazo" in it the Alvarado family is at times also referred to as "the Brazo Family", while Los Brazo refers specifically to the trio of Brazo de Oro, Brazo de Plata and El Brazo.

Robin's real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans. He is a part of the extensive Alvarado wrestling family, the son of José Aarón Alvarado Nieves who wrestled as "Brazo Cibernético" and "Robin Hood", and grandson of Juan Alvarado Ibarra, better known as Shadito Cruz.
Homenaje a Dos Leyendas is the collective name of a series of annual lucha libre, or professional wrestling major show promoted by Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). The show started out as Homenaje a Salvador Lutteroth, honoring CMLL founder Salvador Lutteroth, it would later honor Lutteroth and El Santo until 2005 where the event would honor Lutteroth and a different retired or deceased luchador each year. CMLL has held a total of 23 Homenaje events, starting in 1996 and one each year since then. The shows are usually main evented by a Lucha de Apuestas or "Bet match" where competitors wager either their wrestling mask or hair on the outcome of the match.
Martín Antonio Alvarado Nieves is a Mexican luchador, or professional wrestler best known under the ring name Súper Brazo and is part of an extensive Alvarado wrestling family that was founded by his father Shadito Cruz and includes Alvarado's five brothers as well as a large number of third-generation wrestlers. Most of the wrestlers in the Alvarado family is using or has used a ring name with the word "Brazo" ("Arm") in it at some point in their career. Martín Alvarado has worked for a number of Mexican professional wrestling promotion, but is currently working on the Mexican Independent circuit and not permanently for one specific promotion.
José Aarón Alvarado Nieves was a Mexican luchador or masked professional wrestler, best known under the ring names Robin Hood, El Arquero and Brazo Cibernético. José Aarón was a member of the extensive Alvarado wrestling family founded by his father, Shadito Cruz, which includes José Aarón's five brothers and a large number of third-generation wrestlers. Most of the Alvarado family wrestlers are using or have used a ring name including the word "Brazo" ("Arm") at some point in their careers. He died from an infection.
Juan Alvarado Ibarra was a Mexican luchador, or professional wrestler, better known under the ring name Shadito Cruz. Best known as the patriarch of the Alvarado wrestling family that includes six of Alvarado's sons and many of his grandchildren, Cruz achieved little success as a wrestler but became a well respected trainer. He trained members of his own family as well as a large number of non-family members
Javier Espinosa Romero is a Mexican luchador, or masked professional wrestler best known under the ring name Tony Rivera. As Rivera he is currently working on the Mexican professional wrestling independent circuit portraying a tecnico wrestling character. Rivera worked for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) for over 10 years, followed by him working on the Mexican independent circuit, particularly for International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) and International Wrestling League (IWL). He originally worked as an Enmascarado or masked wrestler under the ring names Paris and Renegado but has used the name Tony Rivera since 1996. Following his departure from CMLL he became an advocate for wrestlers rights and pay, including Rivera organizing a blockade of one of CMLL's major shows, the 2011 Juicio Final.
The 2009 Festival de las Máscaras was a major lucha libre event produced and scripted by the Mexican International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) professional wrestling promotion on August 20, 2009. The show was held in Arena Naucalpan, Naucalpan, State of Mexico, which is IWRG's primary venue. The 2009 event was only the second time IWRG held a Festival de las Máscaras, which would become an annual tradition.
