Brenda Davidson (born 20 September 1964) is a Canadian female curler. [1] She competed at the 2015 Winter Deaflympics at the age of 50. [2] [3]

Davidson started her curling career (deaf curling) at the age of just 18. She has also participated in the Women's Deaf Canadian Championships twice in 1999 and in 2003. [4]

In the 2015 Winter Deaflympics held in Russia, she won the bronze medal in the curling team event. [5] [6] [7]

Brenda Davidson is currently coaching Special Olympics curling in the city of Thompson.

Melissa Köck is an Austrian female deaf alpine skier. She competed at the 2015 Winter Deaflympics and competed in the women's downhill, giant slalom, slalom, Super-G and super combined events. She is also the younger sister of fellow Austrian alpine skier, Kristina Köck.

The 2019 Winter Deaflympics, officially known as the 19th Winter Deaflympics or XIX Winter Deaflympics, was the 19th edition of the Winter Deaflympics, and took place between the 12–21 December in Sondrio Province in Northern Italy. Russian–Chinese Winter Youth Games is a regional winter sports competition, where China and Russia are the participants of the games. The first edition of the games was held in Harbin, China's Heilongjiang province in 2016, while the latest and third edition is scheduled to be held in December 2022.
