Clayton is a city in and the seat of St. Louis County, Missouri. It borders the independent city of St. Louis. The population was 17,355 at the 2020 census. Organized in 1877, the city was named after Ralph Clayton, who donated the land for the St. Louis County courthouse.

Brentwood Middle and High School is a public high school in Brentwood, St. Louis County, Missouri that is part of the Brentwood School District. Brentwood High School was selected as a National Blue Ribbon School in 2006. Brentwood High School opened in 1927, and in 1961, the school district added a junior high school addition to the building.

Normandy Schools Collaborative is a public school district serving 23 municipalities in northern St. Louis County, Missouri. The district operates one comprehensive high school which includes an alternative education program, five grade 1-8 elementary schools, and one early learning center. The district is named for Normandy, Missouri, one of the primary municipalities served by the district. The Missouri Board of Education voted to end the school district on June 30, 2014. It lost state accreditation that year for poor academic performance. An appointed board replaced the elected board, and the district became a new entity called the “Normandy Schools Collaborative.” The state had direct oversight of the schools. The District was featured on an episode of NPR's This American Life that aired on July 31, 2015.
Ritenour School District is a school district located in St. Louis County, Missouri. The school district serves parts or all of Overland, St. John, St. Ann, Edmundson, Breckenridge Hills, Woodson Terrace, Sycamore Hills, and Vinita Park and Charlack. For the 2016-2017 school year, RSD served 6,289 students.

Maplewood Richmond Heights School District or MRHSD, is a public school district in Maplewood, Missouri. The district serves primarily students that live in Maplewood, Richmond Heights and certain sections of Webster Groves.
