Brett O. Feese (born May 21,1954) is a former Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
He is a 1972 graduate of Montoursville High School. [3] He earned a degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1976 and a J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law in 1979. [3]
He served as District Attorney of Lycoming County,Pennsylvania. [4] He was first elected to represent the 84th legislative district in 1994. Feese retired prior to the 2006 Pennsylvania House of Representatives election.
He was considered a possible Republican successor for Don Sherwood's congressional seat,should Sherwood retire. [5]
Brett O. Feese was the Republican House Caucus legal counsel immediately prior to his indictment for his role in Computergate by the Pennsylvania Statewide Investigative Grand Jury. On November 8,2011,Feese was found guilty by a Dauphin County jury on all 40 counts. (11-9-11 Williamsport Sun-Gazette,p. A-1 and A-5).
Along with John Perzel,and several others,Republican PA House Caucus legal counsel Feese was indicted on November 12,2009,on 62 counts of participating in the 2006 Pennsylvania General Assembly bonus controversy also known as Computergate,a scheme that used state funds for private political campaigning. On February 10,2012,Dauphin County judge Richard Lewis sentenced Republican House Caucus legal counsel Feese to 4 to 12 years in state prison,an additional 2 years of probation,a $25,000.00 fine,and $1,000,000.00 in restitution for his role in the corruption scandal. Feese remained free on bail and was ordered to report to prison on February 28,2012 to begin serving his state prison sentence if denied appeal bail by the appellate courts. Feese surrendered his law license in November 2014 to the Pa. Lawyer Disciplinary Board almost 3 years after he had been sentenced to state prison.
Brett O. Feese is tentatively scheduled to be released on parole from SCI-Waymart on Sunday June 26,2015.

A member of the Democratic Party,DeWeese served as the 135th Speaker of the Pennsylvania House from 1993 to 1994. After five years of investigation by Republican State Attorney General Tom Corbett,he was indicted in December 2009 on six charges of conflict of interest,theft and criminal conspiracy on accusations that two members of his staff used state resources to campaign for political office. The trial began January 23,2010. He was re-elected in 2010 despite the charges,but was convicted of five of the six felony charges on February 6,2012.
John Michael Perzel is an American politician and member of the Republican Party. Perzel represented 172nd Legislative District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 1978 until 2010. From April 2003 to January 2007,he served as House Speaker. He lost his bid for re-election to Democrat Kevin Boyle in 2010. Perzel was convicted in August,2011,of a variety of corruption related charges and,in March,2012,was sentenced to 30 months in prison.

Jane Clare Orie is an American politician,attorney,and convicted felon who served in both Houses of the Pennsylvania General Assembly. While in the State Senate,she represented the 40th district,including portions of Allegheny County and Butler County,and served as the Majority Whip. Orie is also a former member of the State House,where she represented the 28th district. She resigned from the State Senate in May 2012,following her conviction on 14 counts of forgery,conflict of interest and theft of services,and served the minimum two-and-a half years of a two-and-a-half to ten-year prison sentence. In 2007,Pennsylvania Attorney General Republican Tom Corbett began investigating $3.8 million in public bonuses which were paid to state legislative staffers in the Pennsylvania General Assembly to work on party politics and campaigns. While the bonuses themselves are not illegal,state law forbids state employees from performing campaign work while on the job and forbids payment for campaign work out of taxpayer funds.
