Brian Joshua Presley (born August 18, 1977) is an American actor and director.
Presley started his career with a handful of guest appearances on television shows such as Beverly Hills, 90210 , Any Day Now , and 7th Heaven .
His big break came in 2000 when he landed the role of Jack Ramsey on the soap opera Port Charles . He portrayed Jack from 2000 until Port Charles was canceled in 2003. In 2004, he produced and starred in the film Guarding Eddy . In 2006, he starred in End Game and Home of the Brave . Borderland was released in 2007.
In the film Touchback, released in April 2012, he plays a high school football star (as Presley was in real life) who suffers a career-ending injury and becomes a farmer, but later receives a second chance at athletic success. [1] [2] [3]
His directorial debut The Great Alaskan Race , which he wrote, produced and starred in along with Treat Williams, Henry Thomas and Bruce Davison which premiered at the San Diego International Film Festival on October 18, 2019. [4]
Presley was born in Midland, Texas, 2 days after the death of Elvis Presley who Brian is unrelated to. He graduated from Jenks High School in Jenks, Oklahoma in 1996 where he was the quarterback for the state championship winning football team (1993). He was also active in choir and show choir at Jenks High School and had the leading role in the high school's musical his senior year.
Presley was a walk-on for the University of Arkansas football team for one year. He visited Southern California, appeared in a commercial, and decided to try acting. [5] He attended the business school at the University of Southern California. [1]
He is married to his Port Charles co-star Erin Hershey Presley. They have three children. [5]

Brian Manion Dennehy was an American actor of stage, television, and film. He won two Tony Awards, an Olivier Award, and a Golden Globe, and received six Primetime Emmy Award nominations. Dennehy had roles in over 180 films and in many television and stage productions. His film roles included First Blood (1982), Gorky Park (1983), Silverado (1985), Cocoon (1985), F/X (1986), Presumed Innocent (1990), Tommy Boy (1995), Romeo + Juliet (1996), Ratatouille (2007), and Knight of Cups (2015). Robert Patrick "Tate" Forcier is a former American football quarterback. He was a starting quarterback for the 2009 Michigan Wolverines football team ahead of Denard Robinson, and Robinson's backup for the 2010 Michigan Wolverines football team. He left the program in January 2011 when head coach Rich Rodriguez was replaced by Brady Hoke. He missed the January 1, 2011 Gator Bowl after being ruled academically ineligible and was no longer enrolled at the university when the new term began following the semester break. On February 9, 2011, Forcier announced his transfer to the University of Miami. He originally intended to redshirt the 2011 season and play for the Miami Hurricanes football team in the 2012 and 2013 season but instead transferred to San Jose State University to play for the Spartans football team. He soon withdrew from the San Jose State football program. He then attended training camp with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League.

Jenks High School is a secondary school located within Tulsa County in Jenks, Oklahoma, United States. It is a part of Jenks Public Schools, which first opened the high school location in 1955 and completing the junior and senior high school in 1959. The high school has over 2,800 students in grades 10–12. With the attached Freshman Academy, the high school campus has over 3,600 students.
Touchback is a 2011 American sports film, written and directed by Don Handfield and starring Brian Presley, Melanie Lynskey, Kurt Russell, and Christine Lahti. It premiered on home video in Finland and Sweden on September 28, 2011, and had a limited theatrical run in the United States the following year. The film received mixed reviews from critics.
