Brigitte Gonthier-Maurin (born 23 April 1956) is a former member of the Senate of France, representing the Hauts-de-Seine department from 2007 to 2017. She is a member of the Communist, Republican, and Citizen Group.
Brigitte Gonthier-Maurin was departmental secretary of the Hauts-de-Seine federation of the French Communist Party [1] from 2004 to February 2013. From the 33rd congress (2006) until 2007, she was also a member of the PCF's National Executive Committee, responsible for the network of section secretaries [2] (Party Life division).
