Brigitte Rougeron (born 14 June 1961 in Paris) is a retired French high jumper.
She finished fifth at the 1985 European Indoor Championships. [1] She became French champion in 1981 and 1986. [2]
Her personal best jump was 1.92 metres, achieved in May 1984 in Haguenau. [3]
Her coach was Marc Schott.

A heptathlon is a track and field combined events contest made up of seven events. The name derives from the Greek ἑπτά and ἄθλος. A competitor in a heptathlon is referred to as a heptathlete.
Heike Gabriela Drechsler is a German former track and field athlete who represented East Germany and later Germany. One of the most successful long jumpers of all-time, she is a former world record holder and ranks third on the all-time list with her legal best of 7.48 metres in 1988. Her marginally wind-assisted jump of 7.63 metres (+2.1) in 1992 at altitude in Sestriere, is still the furthest a woman has ever long jumped. She is the only woman who has won two Olympic gold medals in the long jump, winning in 1992 and 2000.
Sara Simeoni is an Italian former high jumper, who won a gold medal at the 1980 Summer Olympics and twice set a world record in the women's high jump.
Jocelyne Villeton is a French retired long-distance runner who won the bronze medal in the marathon at the 1987 World Championships.
Florence Picaut is a French athlete, and a specialist in heptathlon, from the club at Stade Français from 1974.
Diana Clare Davies is a retired female high jumper from Great Britain, born in Catworth. Her personal best of 1.95 metres set on 26 June 1982, at a meet in Oslo, Norway, stood as the UK national record until 2014. She competed at two Olympic Games, reaching the final on both occasions. In Los Angeles 1984, she finished in 9th place, while in Seoul 1988, she finished 8th (1.90m).
Kim Hagger is a retired English athlete who competed mainly in the heptathlon and the long jump. She represented Great Britain at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics and the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
Monique Éwanjé-Épée Lewin is a retired French track and field athlete who competed in the 60m hurdles and 100m hurdles, and is the co-holder of the French national records for both events. She is the 1990 European Champion and the 1991 World Indoor silver medallist. She also represented France at the Olympic Games in 1988, 1992 and 1996.
Haoua Kessely is a French athlete who specialises in the triple jump. Kessely competed at the 31st 2011 European Athletics Indoor Championships.
Nafissatou "Nafi" Thiam is a Belgian athlete specialising in multi-event competition. She is the first athlete with three multi-event gold medals at the Olympic Games, winning the heptathlon at the 2016 Rio, 2020 Tokyo and 2024 Paris Olympics. Her three individual Olympic golds in a row for a woman equals the record of Anita Wlodarczyk of Poland in the hammer and Faith Kipyegon in the 1500 metres Thiam is also the only Belgian athlete to successfully defend an Olympic title.
Anne Piquereau is a retired French track and field athlete who specialised in the high hurdles. She won the bronze medal at the 1985 World Indoor Games and three medals at European Indoor Championships. In addition, she represented her country at the 1988 Olympic Games and 1992 Olympic Games, as well as at three outdoor World Championships, most notably finishing fifth in 1987.
Anne-Marie Colchen-Maillet was a French track and field athlete and women's basketball player. She became France's first high jump champion at the 1946 European Athletics Championships and held the French record for the event for ten years. She represented France in high jump at the 1948 Summer Olympics. In basketball she was the highest scorer at the 1953 FIBA World Championship for Women, helping France to third place. She was a member of the French national team for the European Women's Basketball Championship in 1950, 1952, 1954 and 1956. She was inducted into the French Basketball Hall of Fame in 2005.
Sigrid Ulbricht is a German former track and field athlete who competed in the long jump for East Germany. She was the champion at the IAAF World Cup and European Cup in 1981 and represented her country at the Olympic Games in 1980.
Laurence Elloy-Machabey is a French track and field athlete who competed in the sprint hurdles. She is a former French national record holder with her best of 12.69 seconds for the 100 metres hurdles. She twice represented France at both the Summer Olympics and the World Championships in Athletics and was a three-time participant at the European Athletics Championships.
Barbro Marie Susanne Lorentzon-Borg is a Swedish former track and field athlete who specialised in the high jump. She held the Swedish record for the high jump from 22 June 1980 to 20 April 1997, when her lifetime best of 1.94 m was beaten by Kajsa Bergqvist.

Her athletic club was ASPTT from Lille from 1967 to 1974, the Union sportive métropolitaine des transports de Paris from 1975 to 1976, and Stade français from 1977 to 1980.
