Singles and EP releases
The album spawned several singles in Sweden, "Motown Blood", "Mr Moon", "The Band", "Sheepdog" and "Paralyzed." Internationally, "Sheepdog" and "Paralyzed" were selected as the only singles.
"Motown Blood EP", was released in 2002 in Sweden by EMI Music Sweden as the first release from the band Mando Diao. The title track, "Little Boy Jr" and "Lady" all later appeared on the band's first album, Bring 'Em In, while "A Picture Of Them All" was only included on the Japanese version of the album, as a B-side on the Swedish "Paralyzed" EP and on the B-side compilation "The Malevolence of Mando Diao 2002-2007".
"Mr Moon" was the debut single of the band and reached #37 on Swedish charts.
The song "The Band" is about a fight between the band's two singers. It was written when singer/songwriter Gustaf Norén wanted to leave the band and move away from their hometown of Borlänge, Sweden. Björn Dixgård, the band's other singer/songwriter, wrote the chorus of the song to Norén after their fight to reveal his side of the argument. Norén returned to the band after hearing Dixgård's song. The band reconciled, and Norén wrote the verses to the song. The Band was released as a single in 2002. The B-Side, "Driving Around" was also released later on the Swedish "Paralyzed" EP and the Japanese single "Sheepdog".
The third single "Sheepdog" failed to chart in Europe upon its initial release. The single was released in Japan as an EP with enhanced content. In 2004 the single was released as a 7" in the UK. Its B-side "How We Walk" was also released on the "Paralyzed EP"in Sweden and the US.
"Paralyzed EP" was the released as third EP and was altogether the fifth release from the album. The title track was taken from the album and the B-sides were all taken from earlier singles from 2002. The US version released by Mute features three live tracks as an added bonus, while dropping two of the original B-sides. The version of the EP downloadable through the US iTunes Store retains the Swedish track list. The UK version, bizarrely, dropped all the B-sides and replaced them with two tracks from Bring 'Em In.
Mando Diao is an alternative rock band from Borlänge, Sweden. The band got their breakthrough with the release of the album Hurricane Bar. Their main fan base is in Sweden, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Japan. Band members are Björn Dixgård, Carl-Johan Fogelklou (bass), Jens Siverstedt (guitar), Daniel Haglund (keyboard) and Patrik Heinkipieti (drums).
Hurricane Bar is the second album from the Swedish band Mando Diao, released in 2004. The album was chosen as No. 92 of Amazon.com's Top 100 Editor's Picks of 2005.
Sugarplum Fairy is a pop-rock band from Borlänge, Sweden. The members took the name from a version of the Beatles' song "A Day in the Life" where John Lennon counts the song in by saying "sugar-plum-fairy, sugar-plum-fairy". Sugarplum Fairy was founded in 1998 by Victor and Carl Noren and Kristian Gidlund.

"Long Before Rock 'N' Roll" is Mando Diao's eleventh single and the first from their third album, Ode to Ochrasy. The song earned a lot of airplay on MTV Central and is known for its shoutpart. The song was performed at Late Night with Conan O'Brien when the band appeared there on May 25, 2007.
"Good Morning, Herr Horst" is Mando Diao's second single by the album Ode to Ochrasy and their twelfth overall. It was only released in Germany. Herr Horst is a German homeless living in Stockholm, infamous for playing the harmonica in a very peculiar way. The single was only released in Germany; in the rest of Europe, TV & Me was released instead. "Carbon Place" is the first song Mando Diao have released which contains some Swedish lyrics. "Spit On Your Love" was also included as a B-side to The Wildfire EP available on iTunes.
"God Knows" is the fifth single released by Swedish band Mando Diao and their second release from their second album, Hurricane Bar. The B-sides on the three versions of the single in the UK are all recorded live at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston. These live tracks have all previously appeared on the US Paralyzed EP, with "Little Boy Jr" also appearing on the Japan Tour EP and the limited edition of Bring 'Em In. "The Malevolence also appeared on the UK version of You Can't Steal My Love. The song appeared on the playlist for the FIFA 06 soundtrack.
"Mr. Moon" is the debut single of the Swedish band Mando Diao. The title track would later appear on the band's first album, Bring 'Em In, while "She's So" was only released on the Japanese version of the album. The single reached #37 on Swedish charts. In response to a question asked by a fan on their website, the band confirmed that part of the song was about The Who's original drummer, Keith Moon.
Never Seen the Light of Day is the fourth studio album by Swedish band Mando Diao. The album was produced by Björn Olsson and engineered by Patrik Heikinpieti. It was recorded in 2007 while the band were on an exhaustive tour of the world. Frontman Björn Dixgård stated in a recent interview that the band was dissatisfied with their management and tired of the tediousness of the studios so they recorded the album independently in a small studio with producer Björn Olsson. The album was titled 'Never Seen The Light Of Day' because the band believed that the album might not be released, and thus would not see the light of day.
"Clean Town" is the first single by Swedish band Mando Diao from their 2004 album Hurricane Bar and their fourth single overall. "Clean Town" was released in Japan as an EP, commonly known as the "Japan Tour EP." The EP featured an enhanced section with two live videos from a Japanese performance at the Harajuku Astro Hall. The B-sides, "Hail The Sunny Days" and "Your Lover's Nerve," both later featured again on the Swedish version of "You Can't Steal My Love", the latter also appearing as a bonus track on the Japanese version of Hurricane Bar. The live version of "Little Boy Jr," recorded in Boston, from the Japanese EP has appeared on many Mando Diao releases, including the UK version of "God Knows", the US version of the Paralyzed EP and the German limited edition of "Bring 'Em In".
"The Wildfire " is the fourth single by the Swedish band Mando Diao, released from their 2006 album, Ode to Ochrasy. It was released as a download only, except for some radio promotional CDs. In the US, the single was expanded to an EP, removing the original B-side remix and adding three rare tracks from various European releases. "With Or Without Love" originally appeared on the vinyl and limited edition of Ode To Ochrasy, "A Hard Day's Night" originally appeared on the European "TV & Me" single and "Spit On Your Love" was first released on the Germany-only release, "Good Morning, Herr Horst". "The Wildfire" appears in the video game NHL 08.
Mats Anders Björke is a Swedish musician (keyboard) and producer. From 2004 to 2014, he was a member of the Swedish band Mando Diao.
