Allister is an American pop-punk band from Chicago, Illinois. The four-piece formed in 1994 as Phineas Gage when the original band members were still in high school. In 1998, Allister became one of the first bands to sign to Drive-Thru Records. They went on hiatus in 2007, then reunited in 2010, and have been touring and recording again since. They have released six studio albums: Dead Ends and Girlfriends (1999), Last Stop Suburbia (2002), Before the Blackout (2005), Countdown to Nowhere (2010), Life Behind Machines (2012), and 20 Years and Counting (2019). The band also made a cameo appearance in the 2004 film Sleepover.
Ellegarden is a Japanese rock band formed in December 1998 in Chiba Prefecture. Its lineup consists of vocalist/guitarist Takeshi Hosomi, guitarist Shinichi Ubukata, bassist Yuichi Takada, and drummer Hirotaka Takahashi. After releasing five studio albums, including the Oricon number one Eleven Fire Crackers (2006), the band announced an indefinite hiatus in 2008. In May 2018, Ellegarden announced a reunion and held their first national tour in 10 years.
The Predators is a Japanese rock supergroup formed in 2005 by Sawao Yamanaka, Yoshihito "Jiro" Wayama (Glay) and Shinpei Nakayama (Straightener). In 2010 Nakayama left and was replaced by Hirotaka Takahashi (Ellegarden). Originally on their own record label Three Mountain, name chosen because all three original members have the word "yama" (mountain) in their last name, they were then on Avex Trax from 2008 until 2015, when they switched to Yamanaka's own Delicious Label.
Amplified is a rock band consisting of three young boys from Hong Kong. While from Hong Kong, they are primarily known in Japan. They were discovered through Sony Music Japan's International Audition, and signed to the Sony subsidiary DefSTAR Records. Their debut single, "Mr. Raindrop" was used as the second ending theme for the anime Gintama. Their debut album, Turn It Up!, was released on 2 August 2006. Their second album, titled Sesh the Sweet Sounds, was released on 25 July 2007. The new lead track is named "Elevator". The music video was shot entirely inside a set of elevators in Tokyo.
