Ellegarden is a Japanese rock band formed in December 1998 in Chiba Prefecture. Its lineup consists of vocalist/guitarist Takeshi Hosomi, guitarist Shinichi Ubukata, bassist Yuichi Takada, and drummer Hirotaka Takahashi. After releasing five studio albums, including the Oricon number one Eleven Fire Crackers (2006), the band announced an indefinite hiatus in 2008. In May 2018, Ellegarden announced a reunion and held their first national tour in 10 years.
The Summer Sonic Festival, is an annual music festival held on one weekend in August simultaneously in both Chiba and Osaka, Japan. The festival features one lineup performing one day in Osaka then performing the next day in Chiba and vice-versa. The Predators is a Japanese rock supergroup formed in 2005 by Sawao Yamanaka, Yoshihito "Jiro" Wayama (Glay) and Shinpei Nakayama (Straightener). Amplified is a rock band consisting of three young boys from Hong Kong. While from Hong Kong, they are primarily known in Japan. They were discovered through Sony Music Japan's International Audition, and signed to the Sony subsidiary DefSTAR Records. Their debut single, "Mr. Raindrop" was used as the second ending theme for the anime Gintama. Their debut album, Turn It Up!, was released on 2 August 2006. Their second album, titled Sesh the Sweet Sounds, was released on 25 July 2007. The new lead track is named "Elevator". The music video was shot entirely inside a set of elevators in Tokyo.
