British Rhondda Halt railway station served the area of Pont Walby, in the historical county of Glamorganshire, Wales, from 1906 to 1911 on the Vale of Neath Railway.
The station was opened on 27 August 1906 by the Great Western Railway. It was a short-lived station, only being open for four and a half years before being replaced by Pontwalby Halt on 1 May 1911. [1] [2]
Tregaron railway station was a railway station in Wales on the former Carmarthen to Aberystwyth Line serving Tregaron, Ceredigion, Wales.
Chepstow East railway station was a temporary station on the South Wales Railway. It was on the opposite bank of the River Wye from Chepstow and was only used for a few months until the river was crossed by a railway bridge. This was about a mile from Chepstow railway station, at the road bridge close to the future junction of the Wye Valley line. It was opened on 19 September 1851 and served as a temporary station while the Chepstow railway bridge was being constructed across the river to link up with the rest of the line. It closed on 19 July 1852, the day that the bridge over the Wye was opened.
Gretton Halt railway station was a halt opened by the Great Western Railway on the Honeybourne Line from Honeybourne to Cheltenham which served the small village of Gretton in Gloucestershire between 1906 and 1960. The line through the site of the station was reinstated in 1997 by the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway, although no new halt was provided.
