The Honda British Talent Cup is a United Kingdom junior motorcycle racing series. It was founded in 2018 for riders at ages 12 to 17 from the British Isles to apply. [1]
One rider will be given a chance to race full-time in the FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship, while two drivers will race in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. Honda is the series' bike supplier, providing the riders with the Moto3 Honda NSF250R. [2]
In the inaugural 2018 season, Scottish rider Rory Skinner won the cup, [3] 27 points ahead of Englishman Thomas Strudwick. [4] In the second season, Scott Ogden clinched the victory, [5] four points ahead of Cameron Horsman.[ citation needed ] In the Covid-19-struck 2020 season, Franco Bourne and Casey O'Gorman vied for the title, with Bourne coming out on top. [6] O'Gorman won the 2021 season, winning eight races. He finished ahead of Carter Brown, who missed by six points in the final round at Donington Park.[ citation needed ]
Michael Laverty is an occasional motorcycle racer from Toomebridge, Northern Ireland. After participating in the 2017 season in the British Superbike Championship aboard a Yamaha YZF-R1, and the 2018 season on a Tyco BMW, Laverty became a television commentator and occasional rider in Endurance events.
Danny Ray Kent is an English motorcycle racer, best known for winning the 2015 Moto3 World Championship. In doing so he became Great Britain's first Grand Prix solo motorcycle world champion since Barry Sheene in 1977, as well as the first British lightweight class champion since Dave Simmonds in 1969.
Brad Binder is a South African Grand Prix motorcycle racer. He is most-known for winning the 2016 Moto3 World Championship. In November 2019 he was confirmed as Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider in MotoGP class for the 2020 season, replacing Johann Zarco who had abandoned his factory ride earlier during that year.
Taylor Mackenzie is a former Grand Prix motorcycle racer based in Leicestershire, England. In late 2021, Mackenzie announced his intended retirement from racing at the end of the season. Shortly afterwards, it was announced that from the 2022 season, Mackenzie would be team manager for VisionTrack Honda Moto3, a new team in Moto3 headed by ex-racer Michael Laverty.

Bradley Ray (born 16 May 1997 in Ashford, Kent, England is a British motorcycle racer. After winning the 2022 BSB Championship, for 2023 Ray was contracted to ride in European rounds of World Superbikes.

Ai Ogura is a Japanese Grand Prix motorcycle racer who is set to compete in the 2024 Moto2 World Championship for MT Helmets–MSi. He previously competed in Moto2 and Moto3 for Idemitsu Honda Team Asia, finishing as championship runner-up in 2022.
Rory Skinner is a championship winning British motorcycle racer from Perth, Scotland, who also worked as a motorcycle mechanic. After the 2019 season in British Supersport on a Kawasaki, for 2020 he moved to Appleyard Yamaha racing. Skinner dominated the 2020 British Supersport Championship, winning the first six races, and was crowned champion after his eighth victory of the season.

Deniz Öncü is a Turkish motorcycle racer, currently competing in the Moto3 World Championship, for team Red Bull KTM Ajo. His twin brother, Can, is also a motorcycle racer. Both brothers are mentored by Turkish multi-world champion motorcycle racer, Kenan Sofuoğlu.
