Brittany Mesa Bell [1] (born November 9, 1987) is an American model, dancer, and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Guam 2014 and represented Guam at Miss Universe 2014, where she was unplaced. She had previously been crowned Miss Arizona USA 2010 and represented Arizona in Miss USA 2010.

Career

Bell was born and raised in Barrigada, Guam, to a Chamorro mother and a father of Native American, West Indian and African American heritage. [1]

In 2009, she was crowned Miss Arizona USA 2010, as well as Miss Congeniality, [2] As Miss Arizona, she went on to compete in the Miss USA 2010 but did not advance beyond the opening round at the pageant held in Las Vegas, Nevada, on May 16, 2010.[ citation needed ]

Bell spent three seasons as an NBA cheerleader, working for the Phoenix Suns. [3] She graduated from Arizona State University in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism. [3]

Bell was crowned Miss Guam Universe 2014 and competed at Miss Universe 2014. [1]

Personal life

She and actor Nick Cannon have three children together: their eldest son, Golden Sagon Cannon, born on February 21, 2017, [4] their second child, a daughter named Powerful Queen Cannon, born on December 23, 2020, [5] and finally, their youngest son, Rise Messiah Cannon, born on September 23, 2022. Miss USA 2010 was the 59th Miss USA pageant, held at the Theatre for the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 16, 2010 which was broadcast live on NBC. Kristen Dalton of North Carolina, crowned her successor, Rima Fakih of Michigan as Miss USA 2010 at the end of this event. This was Michigan's third Miss USA title and the first title in 17 years. Fakih became the first Arab American to win the Miss USA title. This was also the first pageant since 1986 taking place in the month of May.
