He is best known as the lead vocalist, primary songwriter, and lead guitarist of the rock band Green Day, which he co-founded with Mike Dirnt in 1985. He is also a guitarist and vocalist for the punk rock band Pinhead Gunpowder, and provides lead vocals for Green Day's side projects Foxboro Hot Tubs, The Network, The Longshot, and The Coverups.

Ludo is an alternative rock band from St. Louis, Missouri. The band consists of lead vocalist/guitarist Andrew Volpe, lead guitarist/back up vocalist Tim Ferrell, moog/synth and back up vocalist Tim Convy, and drummer/back up vocalist Matt Palermo. Although on hiatus since 2012, Ludo announced on their Facebook page on July 16, 2018, that they would be performing in St. Louis in October. Ludo would go on to follow up in 2019 with another announcement for a two part show titled HalLUDOween 2019 slated for November 1, 2019 and November 2, 2019 with a late show on November 2, 2019 being added due to popular demand, again being played at the Pageant in St. Louis. A planned 2020 concert in Chicago, IL was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) was an annual three-week summer festival which presented more than thirty new musicals at venues in New York City's midtown theater district. More than half of these productions are chosen by leading theater artists and producers through an open-submission, double-blind evaluation process; the remaining shows are invited to participate by the Festival's artistic staff. There were sixteen iterations of NYMF in total, one every year from 2004 to 2019.

Linda Good is an American composer, songwriter, producer, keyboardist, singer and multi-instrumentalist. She is co-founder, with her twin sister Laura, of the alternative pop band, The Twigs. Good has also toured as a keyboardist with Jane's Addiction (2001),The Mars Volta (2002), the Lisa Marie Presley Band (2002–2006) and Bitter:Sweet (2007–2008). She co-wrote the musical LadyShip, which was an Official Grand Jury Selection of the New York Musical Festival (NYMF) and debuted in New York City at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theater on July 10, 2019. LadyShip was also a finalist for the Richard Rodgers Award for Musical Theater 2020. She and her twin sister Laura were born in Ohio, lived in Mexico City as toddlers, and grew up in Chicago. She is a graduate of the Chicago Academy for Performing Arts High School in Chicago, the University of Illinois, and studied abroad at University College-Cardiff, Wales, UK. She has been based out of Los Angeles since 2000.
