Awarding the album three and a half stars for About.com, Chad Bowar states, "The album is brutally heavy, but not monotonous." [2] Dan Slessor, rating the album a nine out of ten at Outburn , writes, the songs are "visceral in the extreme." [3] Giving the album a 6.6 out of ten from Pure Grain Audio, Graham Finney says, "The saving grace for Broken Flesh is that, while they may be another generic brutal death metal act, their crushing heaviness is delivered with such pinpoint accuracy that long-standing fans of the genre will find plenty on this self-titled offering to keep them headbanging long into the night." [4] Pagan Hel, indicating in a four star review by RAM Zine, describes, "Broken Flesh sure know how to engage with their skilled savagery, even if it does hold a (slight) Christian message." [5]

The New Black is the fifth and final studio album by Canadian heavy metal band Strapping Young Lad. It was released on July 11, 2006, debuting at No. 200 on the Billboard charts. A music video was shot for the album's sole single, "Wrong Side", and another video, done in CGI, was made for the non-single song "Almost Again".
That One Night: Live in Buenos Aires is a live album from American heavy metal band Megadeth which was released on CD and DVD formats. It features a live concert recorded in Buenos Aires on October 9, 2005, at the Obras Sanitarias Stadium. The performance is segued by cuts of Dave and Glen performing a few acoustic songs for some fans on the lawn outside of the band's hotel. It was at this concert that Dave Mustaine announced that Megadeth would continue on past the 2005 tour.

Battle Cry is a live video released by Judas Priest on 25 March 2016 on DVD and on 1 April 2016 on Blu-ray. It was filmed at the Wacken Open Air festival on 1 August 2015 in front of a capacity of 85,000 people. A CD version was also released bundled with the DVD version as well. Both DVD and Blu-ray formats contain three bonus tracks recorded from their 10 December 2015 show at the Ergo Arena in Gdańsk, Poland.
