Brook Driver is a British screenwriter and film director based in London. He is currently the creative director at Deadbeat Films. [1]

Biography

In 2021, he was the winner of the Final Draft Screenwriters Award at South by Southwest (SXSW). [2]

His film Swede Caroline (which he wrote and co-directed with Finn Bruce) won Best Screenplay at the National Film Awards, as well as the Spirit Award at the Raindance Film Festival [3]. It was also nominated for the British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) Longlist.

In 2023, his collaboration with Hassan Akkad, short film Matar, won the Fiction Award at the Novella Film Festival [3] and Best Short Film at the Shark Awards. [4]
