Sanders led the league in rushing yards four times and in rushing touchdowns once, establishing himself as one of the most elusive runners in the history of the NFL with his quickness and agility, despite being only 5 ft 8 in tall and weighing 203 lbs. Sanders played college football for the Oklahoma State Cowboys. As a junior in 1988, he compiled what is widely considered the greatest individual season by a running back in college football history, rushing for 2,628 yards and 37 touchdowns in 11 games. He won the Heisman Trophy and was unanimously recognized as an All-American.
Wichita East High School, known locally as "East", is a public secondary school in Wichita, Kansas, United States. It is operated by Wichita USD 259 school district. The centrally located school's 44-acre (180,000 m2) campus and the building's Collegiate Gothic styling make it an urban landmark. The square footage of the East High campus today is 443,814. East's enrollment for the 2018–19 school year was 2,462, making it the largest high school in Kansas. The school offers the International Baccalaureate program, a magnet program that teaches students at a college level, and which attracts students from across the city. The campus is also home to WSU Tech, a division of Wichita State University which provides technical training and education.
Bobby L. McCray Jr. is an American former college and professional football player who was a defensive end for seven seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Florida. He was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the seventh round of the 2004 NFL draft, and also played for the New Orleans Saints and Philadelphia Eagles of the NFL.
Kamerion Wimbley is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker and defensive end in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the first round of the 2006 NFL draft with the 13th overall pick. He also played for the Oakland Raiders and Tennessee Titans before retiring in 2015. Bryce Lee Brown is an American former professional football running back who played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills, and Seattle Seahawks. He attended the University of Tennessee his freshman year of college, but decided to transfer to Kansas State after head coach Lane Kiffin left the program for USC. Later that year, Volunteers coach Derek Dooley declined to release Brown from his scholarship, resulting in Brown sitting out the 2010 season at Kansas State due to NCAA transfer rules. Brown left the Kansas State football team early in the 2011 season to enter the 2012 NFL draft. In April 2012, Brown was selected in the seventh round by the Philadelphia Eagles.

He played college football at Louisiana State University. He also played for the Chicago Bears. In 2021, he competed as a contestant on season 41 of Survivor, where he placed sixth overall.

He attended Virginia Tech, James Madison University and Bowie State University and was a member of their football team. Over his three-year career at Bowie State, he made 84 receptions for 1,407 yards and 11 touchdowns.
