Kenneth Bruce Thomas (born 5 October 1942) is an Australian former cricketer. He played 13 first-class cricket matches for Victoria between 1966 and 1970. [1] [2]
Thomas was a right-handed opening batsman and occasional leg-spin bowler. His best season was 1966–67,when he scored 421 runs at an average of 38.27 to help Victoria win the Sheffield Shield. [3] He made his highest score of 66 against Queensland in 1968–69,when he and Ken Eastwood put on 131 for the opening partnership. [4]
Thomas played district cricket in the Victorian Cricket Association for Hawthorn-East Melbourne from 1961–62 to 1978–79. [5] The annual batting prize for its successor club,Kingston Hawthorn,is the Bruce Thomas Trophy. [6]

Barry Anderson Richards is a former South African first-class cricketer. A right-handed "talent of such enormous stature",Richards is considered one of South Africa's most successful batsmen. He was able to play only four Test matches –all against Australia –before South Africa's exclusion from the international scene in 1970. In that brief career,against a competitive Australian attack,Richards scored 508 runs at the high average of 72.57. Richards' contribution in that series was instrumental in the 4–0 win that South Africa inflicted on the side,captained by Bill Lawry. Clifford Archibald Roach was a West Indian cricketer who played in West Indies' first Test match in 1928. Two years later,he scored the West Indies' first century in Test matches,followed two matches later by the team's first double century. Roach played for Trinidad,but before having any great success at first-class level,he was chosen to tour England with a West Indies team in 1928 and scored over 1,000 runs. When England played in the West Indies in 1930,he recorded his ground-breaking centuries but had intermittent success at Test level afterwards. He toured Australia in 1930–31 and returned to England in 1933,when he once more passed 1,000 runs,but was dropped from the team in 1935. Within three years,he lost his place in the Trinidad team. Roach was generally inconsistent,but batted in an attacking and attractive style. Outside of cricket,he worked as a solicitor. Later in his life,he suffered from diabetes which necessitated the amputation of both his legs.
Bruce Alexander Grenfell Murray was a Test cricketer for New Zealand who played 13 Tests as a right-handed opening batsman between 1968 and 1971. He was a school principal in the Wellington area from 1981 to 2002,and the author of several geography textbooks. After retiring from teaching he was a cricket administrator in Wellington and a historian.
