Bryan William Dumesnil (born September 19, 1983) is a Canadian former professional baseball pitcher.
Dumesnil was a member of the Nanaimo Pirates of the B.C. Premier Baseball League.
Dumesnil was a member of Team Canada during the 2009 World Baseball Classic, although he did not enter either of Canada's two games during the preliminary stage of the tournament at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He was also on Team Canada for the 2009 Baseball World Cup. [1]
Signed with the LA Dodgers in 2002. Played in the Gulf Coast league and pioneer league.
2004 signed with the Baltimore Orioles. Played in the Appy league and 2005 in the New York Penn league with the Ironbirds.
In 2006 he joined the Can Am league with Quebec City and won the Can Am Championship. He remained a Capitale in 2007 when the Atlanta Braves purchased his contract and sent him to Rome in the South Atlantic League, finishing the year in Myrtle Beach in the Carolina League.
2008 started back in Myrtle beach with an all star appearance followed by a call up to AA with the Mississippi Braves. They won the AA championship that year.
2009 started back in Mississippi where he was released from the Braves and signed by the Toronto Blue Jays and sent to New Hampshire.
2010-2012 played with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs in the Atlantic League.
The South Atlantic League, often informally called the Sally League, is a Minor League Baseball league with teams predominantly in states along the Atlantic coast of the United States from New York to Georgia. Alexander Scott Gonzalez is an American former Major League Baseball infielder, who spent the majority of his 13-year career with the Toronto Blue Jays. Gonzalez established a career-high with 20 home runs for the Chicago Cubs in 2003 and hit 20 or more doubles eight times. He was regarded as a glove-first player, sporting a lower-than-average batting average, on-base percentage (.302), and OPS (.694) while leading the American league twice in fielding percentage. At Killian High School in Miami, Florida, Gonzalez was an All-State pick in baseball as a senior. He was drafted straight out of high school in the 14th round of the 1991 Major League Baseball Draft by the Blue Jays. He is Cuban-American and was nicknamed "Gonzo" in order to tell the difference between him and the other Alex Gonzalez, who signed with the Blue Jays on November 26, 2009; coincidentally, they would face each other in the 2003 National League Championship Series between the Marlins and Cubs.
Derek Nathaniel Bell is an American professional baseball outfielder. He played in Major League Baseball for the Toronto Blue Jays, San Diego Padres, Houston Astros, New York Mets, and Pittsburgh Pirates from 1991 to 2001. With the Blue Jays, he was a member of the 1992 World Series champions.
