Career
Johnson was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 1993 Major League Baseball draft, then made his MLB debut on April 6, 1997 with the Baltimore Orioles going on to play for the Orioles (1997) and Montreal Expos (1997–2001).
He was a member of the Team Canada baseball team at the 2004 Summer Olympics, where they finished in fourth place in the tournament.
Johnson played in the Texas Rangers, Los Angeles Dodgers, and San Francisco Giants organizations from 2001 through 2003, before signing with the Expos again in 2004.
In 2006, Johnson played with Somerset of the independent Atlantic League. In 2007, he played for the Edmonton Cracker-Cats of the Northern League. In 2008, he played for the CPBL's La New Bears and won the winningest pitcher and the MVP at the regular season.
On March 7, 2009 he pitched again for Canada in the World Baseball Classic against the USA. For the 2009 season, he signed to play for the SK Wyverns in South Korea after an interval of four years, but was dismissed in April having appeared in just two games. He then signed with the Edmonton Capitals of the Golden Baseball League, for whom he finished the season. He split the 2010 season between the Capitals and Yuma Scorpions.
He is presently a coaching instructor in Edmonton for the St. Francis Xavier high-school baseball Academy.
Omar Jesús Daal Cordero is a Venezuelan former professional baseball pitcher, who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for 11 seasons (1993–2003). He played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Montreal Expos, Toronto Blue Jays, Arizona Diamondbacks, Philadelphia Phillies, and Baltimore Orioles.
José Dennis Martínez Ortiz, nicknamed "El Presidente", is a Nicaraguan former professional baseball pitcher. Martínez played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Baltimore Orioles, Montreal Expos, Cleveland Indians, Seattle Mariners, and Atlanta Braves from 1976 to 1998. He threw a perfect game in 1991, and was a four-time MLB All-Star. He was the first Nicaraguan to play in the majors.
Éric Cyr is a Canadian former professional baseball pitcher. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Diego Padres, as well as in the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) for the Uni-President Lions.

Shingo Takatsu is a Japanese professional baseball pitcher and manager. He had a short stint with the Chicago White Sox where he was the closer for two seasons until struggles closing games ultimately led to his demotion to the minors. Despite being demoted in the summer of 2005, he received a World Series ring with the White Sox. He was signed by the New York Mets during the 2005 season, and he pitched in nine games for New York. After the 2005 season, he returned to the Nippon Professional Baseball.
José Desiderio Rodriguez Lima was a Dominican right-handed pitcher who spent 13 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) with the Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros (1997–2001), Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Dodgers (2004) and New York Mets (2006). His best year in the majors was 1999, when he won 21 games for the Astros and pitched in his only All-Star Game.
Tomokazu Ohka is a Japanese former professional baseball pitcher. He played for the Boston Red Sox (1999–2001), Montreal Expos / Washington Nationals (2001–2005), Milwaukee Brewers (2005–2006), Toronto Blue Jays (2007), Cleveland Indians (2009), as well as the Fukushima Hopes in Japan's Baseball Challenge League. He started his professional career with the Yokohama BayStars in Nippon Professional Baseball's Central League. He throws right-handed and is a switch hitter.
Steven James Kline is an American college baseball coach for the IUP Crimson Hawks. He is also a former professional relief pitcher who pitched for the Cleveland Indians, Montreal Expos, St. Louis Cardinals, Baltimore Orioles, and San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball (MLB) over an 11-year career. Kline attended West Virginia University, where he played college baseball for the Mountaineers.
Aaron James Rakers is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 23rd round in 1999.
Todd Michael Williams is an American former professional baseball relief pitcher. He attended East Syracuse-Minoa High School graduating in 1989. He then attended Onondaga Community College before signing a professional baseball contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers of the Major League Baseball (MLB) in 1991. Over the course of his professional career Williams played for 10 different organizations, including all or parts of eight seasons in the Major Leagues. He is a retired 18-year professional baseball player, with eight years of Major League Baseball experience. Williams was also a member of the USA Baseball team three separate years, with the highlight of winning a Gold Medal in the 2000 Summer Olympics held in Sydney, Australia.
Michael Thomas Morgan is an American former right-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball. He played for 12 different teams over 25 years, and is one of 31 players in baseball history to appear in Major League baseball games in four decades (1978–2002). Upon his retirement, Morgan held the major league record for most major league teams played for (12), but this record was surpassed by Octavio Dotel in 2012 and Edwin Jackson in 2018. Because of this, Morgan was nicknamed "the Nomad" by his teammates due to his constant travel from team to team.
Bradley Richard Thomas is a former Australian professional baseball pitcher. He has previously played in MLB for the Minnesota Twins, Boston Red Sox, Detroit Tigers, in Nippon Professional Baseball for the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters and in the Korea Baseball Organization for the Hanwha Eagles and Chinese Professional Baseball League for the Brother Elephants and Chinatrust Brothers. He bats and throws left-handed. He has retired and now resides in Sydney’s East.
Brian Burres is an American former professional baseball pitcher. Burres' best pitch is his changeup. He also has a high 80s-low 90 MPH fastball and a curveball. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Baltimore Orioles, Toronto Blue Jays and Pittsburgh Pirates and in the CPBL for the Lamigo Monkeys.
Larry Edward Jaster is an American former professional baseball player and coach. He played in Major League Baseball as a left-handed pitcher between 1965 and 1972 for the St. Louis Cardinals, Montreal Expos and the Atlanta Braves. After his playing career, Jaster served as a major league coach and then as a pitching coordinator for the Braves.
Jaime Navarro Cintrón is a former Puerto Rican baseball player and current pitching coach for the Uni-President Lions for the Chinese Professional Baseball League in Taiwan. Navarro was a 6-foot, 4-inch tall right-handed pitcher in the major leagues from 1989 to 2000, playing for the Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, and Cleveland Indians. He is the son of former Major League Baseball pitcher Julio Navarro.
