Bryan Morse is an American politician. [1] He is a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. [2]
Bryan is the father of two children. [3] He is married to Samantha Morse, the Register of Deeds for Merrimack County,New Hampshire.
In addition,in 2023,Morse and his wife Samantha were rescued while hiking in the White Mountains. [4]
Before his career in elected office,Morse faced a charge of reckless driving in 2012. According to local news reporting at the time,Merrimack police said that Morse, then 19,turned himself in on a warrant alleging reckless driving in connection with a single-vehicle crash,in which his car struck a utility pole. He was booked on the charge and had a scheduled court date in August 2012. [5]
In 2015,Morse was arrested in Merrimack,New Hampshire,on a charge of carrying a concealed firearm without a license, which was required under state law at the time. According to contemporaneous reporting, police alleged that Morse was carrying a concealed handgun without the necessary permit. He was released on bail pending further proceedings. [6]
Later that same year,Morse was also arrested on a charge of willful concealment in a separate incident. [7]
In 2017,New Hampshire repealed its license requirement for carrying a concealed firearm, making the state a so-called “constitutional carry”jurisdiction. The change in law occurred after Morse’s 2015 arrest. [8]
In November 2025,Morse was arrested by Nashua police and charged with one count of non-consensual dissemination of private sexual images,a Class B felony under New Hampshire law. [9] [10] The charge stemmed from allegations that nude photographs of a woman were posted online without her consent. [11] Morse has been outspoken about "keeping pornography away from minors in public schools." [12]
According to New Hampshire Public Radio,an arrest affidavit alleged that the images were posted to the social media platform Reddit and that investigators linked the account used to post the images to Morse through search warrants and internet service provider records. Police said the woman depicted in the images told investigators she had not consented to their distribution. [11]
Morse was released on bail after turning himself in and later pleaded not guilty to the charge. He waived his arraignment, and as of December 2025,the case remained pending, with a trial scheduled for April 2026. [11]
Morse has publicly denied the allegation and stated that the charge is politically motivated.
