Ester Ledecká is a Czech snowboarder and alpine skier. At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, Ledecká won gold medals in the super-G in alpine skiing and in the parallel giant slalom in snowboarding, becoming the first person to not only compete in the Winter Olympics using two different types of equipment but further to win two gold medals and do so at the same Winter Olympics. She was the second woman to win Olympic gold in two separate disciplines but the first to do so at the same Winter Olympics. She was the first Czech to win the parallel giant slalom in snowboarding at the FIS Snowboard World Cup.
Valérie Grenier is a Canadian World Cup alpine ski racer.
Mikayla Martin was a Canadian alpine skiing and ski cross athlete. Martin competed for the alpine ski team of British Columbia from 2014 to 2017. While competing in Super G events, Martin was 10th at the 2015 National Junior Championships and 4th in the 2017 National Championships. In 2017, Martin joined the Canadian ski cross team for Alpine Canada. During her six events at the 2018–19 FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup, she finished sixth during a race in Innichen, Italy. At ski cross events held at FIS championships, Martin won gold at the 2018 FIS Freestyle Junior World Ski Championships and did not start the small final at the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships 2019.
Cole McDonald is an American freestyle skier. He joined the US Ski & Snowboard's U.S. Freestyle Ski Team in July 2021. In the same season as his first World Cup, he earned a spot on the U.S. Men's Moguls Team at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, making him the youngest American male mogul skier to participate in the Olympics at 18 years of age. McDonald was named World Cup Rookie of the Year in 2022.
The 2022/23 FIS Snowboard Ski World Cup, organized by the International Ski Federation was the 29th World Cup in snowboarding for men and women. The season started on 22 October 2022 in Chur, Switzerland and concluded on 26 March 2023 in Silvaplana, Switzerland. This season included six disciplines: parallel slalom, parallel giant slalom, snowboard cross, halfpipe, slopestyle and big air.
