Buchanan is a historic parish in Stirlingshire in Scotland.
It includes a large part of the eastern shore of Loch Lomond. The most populated village in the parish is Milton of Buchanan, but the village that is most popular with tourists is Balmaha.

Hanslope is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority area of the City of Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England. The village is about 4 miles (6.4 km) west northwest of Newport Pagnell, about 4 miles (6.4 km) north of Stony Stratford and 8 miles (13 km) north of Central Milton Keynes. The northern parish boundary is part of the county boundary with Northamptonshire.
Stirlingshire or the County of Stirling is a historic county and registration county of Scotland. Its county town is Stirling.
The Stirling council area is one of the 32 council areas of Scotland, and has a population of about 93,470. It was created in 1975 as a lower-tier district within the Central region. The district covered parts of the historic counties of Stirlingshire and Perthshire, which were abolished for local government purposes. In 1996 the Central region was abolished and Stirling Council took over all local government functions within the area.
Buchanan Smithy is a hamlet in Buchanan in the far west of Stirling, Scotland. The current settlement was mostly purpose-built in the 18th century for the estate workers of James Graham, 3rd Duke of Montrose, who lived at nearby Buchanan Castle. The name "Smithy" arose due to the presence of three blacksmiths there. Today the main local industries are forestry, agriculture and tourism.
Bittadon is a civil parish and former manor in the North Devon district of Devon, England. According to the 2001 census the parish had a population of 45. It is about seven miles north of Barnstaple and is surrounded clockwise from the north by the parishes of Berrynarbor, Marwood and West Down.

Heanton Punchardon ( ) is a village, civil parish and former manor, anciently part of Braunton Hundred. It is situated directly east-southeast of the village of Braunton, in North Devon. The parish lies on the north bank of the estuary of the River Taw and it is surrounded, clockwise from the north, by the parishes of Braunton, Marwood, Ashford and across the estuary, Fremington. The population was 418 in 1801 and 404 in 1901. Its largest localities are Wrafton and Chivenor. The surrounding area is also an electoral ward with a total population at the 2011 census of 2,673.
