This is a list of high school athletic conferences in Ohio, separated by Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) region. Some conferences have schools in multiple regions, and will be listed in all applicable regions. However, the conference information is on the region page where the most schools are classified in.
The Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) is the governing body of athletic programs for junior and senior high schools in the state of Ohio. The OHSAA governs eligibility of student athletes, resolves disputes, organizes levels of competition by divisional separation of schools according to attendance population, and conducts state championship competitions in all the OHSAA-sanctioned sports.
Lakota West High School is a four-year, public high school in West Chester Township, a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. It is a member of the Lakota Local School District, which comprises both West Chester Township and Liberty Township. The district was originally unified under one high school, Lakota High School, until 1997 when the district expanded and formed two new high schools – Lakota West and Lakota East. Enrollment for Lakota West exceeds 2,500 students, and the school's radio station, WLHS 89.9 FM, is a remnant of the former high school and is staffed by students from both Lakota East and Lakota West.
St. Clairsville High School is a public high school in St. Clairsville, Ohio, United States. It currently houses grades 9 through 12. Their nickname is the Red Devils, and they compete in the Ohio High School Athletic Association as a member of the Buckeye 8 Athletic League as well as the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference.

Martins Ferry High School is a public high school in Martins Ferry, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Martins Ferry City School District. Athletic teams compete as the Martins Ferry Purple Riders in the Ohio High School Athletic Association as a member of the Buckeye 8 Athletic League as well as the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference.
Edison High School is a public high school near Richmond, Ohio, United States. It is the only secondary school in the Edison Local School District, covering students from the villages of Amsterdam, Bergholz, Empire, Irondale, Richmond, and Stratton, as well as most unincorporated areas in northern Jefferson County. Athletic teams compete as the Edison Wildcats in the Ohio High School Athletic Association as a member of the Buckeye 8 Athletic League as well as the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference. Edison is a very agriculturally active district, with an FFA club which goes nationally to events. Edison also offers specialized career pathways which prepare students for their post-graduation careers, focusing on engineering, public service, biomedical science, and technological advancements.

Buckeye Local High School is a public high school in Connorville, Ohio, United States, near Rayland. It is the only secondary school in the Buckeye Local School District. Athletic teams compete as the Buckeye Local Panthers in the Ohio High School Athletic Association as a member of the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference.
Bellefontaine High School is a public high school in Bellefontaine, Ohio, United States. It is part of the Bellefontaine City Schools district. They are members of the Central Buckeye Conference and were formerly members of the Western Buckeye League.

Miami Trace High School is a public high school near Washington Court House, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Miami Trace Local School District. Their mascot is the Panthers. The Miami Trace Local School District serves parts of Washington Court House while also serving the residents in almost every other area in Fayette County as well as small areas in Clinton County near Sabina and Madison County. Miami Trace is a member of the Frontier Athletic Conference (FAC) composed of Chillicothe, Jackson, Hillsboro, Washington Court House, and McClain. Miami Trace holds strong backgrounds in football, and has built a strong reputation in Girls' Basketball and Wrestling in recent past. Miami Trace has one of the top FFA chapters in Ohio.
Cambridge High School is a public high school in Cambridge, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Cambridge City School District. Athletic teams compete as the Cambridge Bobcats in the Ohio High School Athletic Association as a member of the Buckeye 8 Athletic League as well as the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference.
Buckeye Trail High School is a public high school in Lore City, Ohio. It is the only high school in the East Guernsey Local School District. Their mascot is a Warrior, and the school colors are blue and white. They are members of the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference. They used to be members of the Pioneer Valley Conference, but in a controversial move that sparked community outrage, became members of the Inter Valley Conference (IVC) in 2016.
Kenton High School is a public high school in Kenton, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Kenton City Schools district. Their mascot are the Wildcats. They are members of the Western Buckeye League. The school offers coursework in all standard subjects like Math, Science, Social Studies and English, but also features a unique blend of elective courses including Conservation Science, Agricultural Education, Health Science & Technology, Information Technology, Business, Manufacturing, fine arts, broadcasting & journalism, and many more.
Hilltop High School is a public high school in West Unity, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Millcreek-West Unity Local Schools district. Their nickname is the Cadets. They are members of the Buckeye Border Conference and, for football only, the Toledo Area Athletic Conference.
