The Buena Vista Beavers football team represents Buena Vista University in college football at the NCAA Division III level. The Beavers are members of the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C), fielding its team in the A-R-C since 1923 when the conference was branded as the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC). The Beavers play their home games at J. Leslie Rollins Stadium in Storm Lake, Iowa. [2]

Buena Vista University is a private university in Storm Lake, Iowa. Founded in 1891 as Buena Vista College, it is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. The university's 60-acre (240,000 m2) campus is situated on the shores of Storm Lake, a 3,200-acre (13 km2) natural lake.

Randy Michael Rahe is an American college basketball coach and the former head men's basketball coach at Weber State University. Randy Rahe was hired on March 23, 2006, as the 9th coach in Weber State's 47-year history. Rahe announced his retirement May 16, 2022 through the University, Rahe came to WSU from the University of Utah where he was an assistant under former coach Ray Giacoletti. Rahe was also an assistant under Stew Morrill for 13 seasons, first at Colorado State University and then at Utah State University. Rahe posted a record of 54–17 as a high school coach in Colorado from 1985 to 1988. He has also been an assistant coach at Colorado College, Colorado and Denver.

The 1946 Iowa Conference football season was the season of college football played by the 13 member schools of the Iowa Conference as part of the 1946 college football season. The Central Dutch and Upper Iowa Peacocks were co-champions of the conference, each compiling perfect 6–0 records against conference opponents. None of the Iowa Conference teams was ranked in the Associated Press poll or played in a bowl game.

The Wartburg Knights women's volleyball team represents Wartburg College and competes in the American Rivers Conference of NCAA Division III. The team is coached by co-head coaches Jen Walker in her 25th year and Doug Frazell in his 10th. The Knights play their home matches in Levick Arena along with wrestling and the men's and women's basketball teams.

Grant Mollring is an American football coach. He was the head coach for the Buena Vista Beavers football team from 2017 to 2022. He was previously an assistant for Hastings, Doane, Nebraska–Kearney, and Eustis–Farnam High School.

Steven J. Osterberger is an American football coach. He was the head coach of the Buena Vista Beavers football team from 2000 to 2005 and the Loras Duhawks football team from 2006 to 2010. He also coached for Drake, Simpson, and Wahlert Catholic High School.
