The Central Dutch football team represents Central College in college football at the NCAA Division III level. The Dutch are members of the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C), fielding its team in the A-R-C since 1923 when it was named the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC). The Dutch play their home games at Ron and Joyce Schipper Stadium in Pella, Iowa. [3]

James Dennis Kelly was an American football, basketball and track and field coach and college athletics administrator. He coached at DePaul University and the University of Minnesota and was head coach of the United States track and field team at the 1956 Summer Olympics.
John Michael Orr was an American basketball player and coach, best known as the head coach of men's basketball at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, University of Michigan, and at Iowa State University. In the 1975–76 season, Orr was named National Coach of the Year.
Ronald Maurice "Skip" Schipper was an American football coach and college athletics administrator.
The Iowa State Cyclones football program is the intercollegiate football team at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. The team is coached by Matt Campbell. The Cyclones compete in the Big 12 Conference, and are a Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) member of the NCAA. The Cyclones play their home games at Jack Trice Stadium, with a capacity of 61,500.
Robert James Steuber was an American football halfback who has the distinction of having played college football after playing professional football in the National Football League (NFL). Steuber played four seasons in the NF and the All-America Football Conference (AAFC). Growing up in St. Louis, Steuber was a standout on his high school football team. He attended the University of Missouri, where he quickly became one of the country's most productive runners and scoring threats. He was second in the country in 1942 with more than 1,000 yards of rushing. Steuber was drafted by the NFL's Chicago Bears and played one game for the team, appearing as a substitute on September 26, 1943 in the Green Bay Packers' home opener, which ended in a 21–21 tie. The next day, Steuber entered the United States Navy and was transferred to DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana for pre-flight training. Despite having gone from amateur status to professional football, Steuber was allowed to return to college football six days later and led DePauw to a 50-0 win over Illinois Normal College, rushing for 225 yards and scoring 25 points in the first half. Playing for DePauw's football team in 1943, he led the nation in scoring.
The Wyoming Cowboys football program represents the University of Wyoming in college football. They compete in the Mountain West Conference of the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of NCAA Division I and have won 14 conference titles. The head coach is Craig Bohl, who entered his first season in 2014.
Christopher William Creighton is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the head coach at Eastern Michigan University, a position he has held since the 2014 season. Creighton has served as the head coach at three other schools: Ottawa University (1997–2000), Wabash College (2001–2007), and Drake University (2008–2013).

The 1991 Northern Iowa Panthers football team represented the University of Northern Iowa as a member of the Gateway Collegiate Athletic Conference (GCAC) during the 1991 NCAA Division I-AA football season. Led by third-year head coach Terry Allen, the Panther compiled an overall record of 11–2 with mark of 5–1 in conference play, winning the GCAC title. Northern Iowa advanced to the NCAA Division I-AA Football Championship playoffs, beating Weber State in the first round before losing to Marshall in the second round.
