Buhl Farm Golf Course, formerly known as Buhland Golf Course, [2] located in Sharon, Pennsylvania, is one of possibly two free public golf courses Note-1 in the United States. [2] [3] [4] [5] The 9-hole course is open from mid-April to November between 8 a.m. to sundown (closing times vary on season, so call ahead). The course is known for its flat greens, high rough and little room between each hole. It is also known for its easy layout including straight and wide fairways. The course is also known for its one artificial turf tee box, and eight other natural tee boxes. The course also includes a driving range and a First Tee center. It is run by the Buhl Farm Trust and generous donations from the public. The free course is called "Dum Dum" by the locals. It also has a children's golf program in the summer.

Harbour Town Golf Links is a public golf course in the eastern United States, located in South Carolina in Sea Pines Plantation on Hilton Head Island in Beaufort County. From 1969 to 2019, it hosted the RBC Heritage on the PGA Tour, usually in mid-April, the week after The Masters.

The Penn State Golf Courses are two 18-hole courses located in State College, Pennsylvania, USA, operated by The Pennsylvania State University. DeGray Lake Resort State Park

DeGray Lake Resort State Park is a 984-acre (398 ha) Arkansas state park in Clark and Hot Spring counties, Arkansas in the United States. Situated in the Ouachita Mountains, the park features the 13,800-acre (5,600 ha) DeGray Lake, the park features a championship rated 18 hole golf course and Arkansas's only state park resort. The United States Army Corps of Engineers began constructing DeGray Dam on the Caddo River in 1963, and support for a state park began growing shortly after. The park was created in 1974, and the resort and golf course were added by 1975.

Golf etiquette refers to a set of rules and practices designed to make the game of golf safer and more enjoyable for golfers and to minimize possible damage to golf equipment and courses. Trojan Oaks Golf Course

Trojan Oaks Golf Course was a 9-hole championship golf course on the campus of Troy University. It was for use by the general public, golf team, and students. The Trojan Oaks was 3,211 yards (2,936 m) from the longest tee. The par for the course was 36 with a course rating of 35.5 and a slope rating of 125. The greens and fairways were both Bermuda grass. The course was built over the course of two years and opened in 1977 under the supervision of Chancellor Ralph Wyatt Adams. The course was closed in March 2010 in order to build a new basketball arena on the grounds.

Kodaikanal Golf Club

Kodaikanal Golf Club is a private membership club with an 18-hole, par 71 Golf course. It is located about 6 kilometres (4 mi) southwest from the center of Kodaikanal in Tamil Nadu, South India at an elevation of 2,220 metres (7,280 ft). The club is on Golf links Road near the popular view point 'Suicide Point' and 3 kilometres (2 mi) before the 'Pillar Rocks' viewpoint and flower garden.

The Detroit Golf Club is a private golf club located in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan in the middle of a neighborhood area on north side of the city near the University of Detroit Mercy and Palmer Woods Historic District. Bert Way designed the original 6-hole course. It was expanded to 9 holes, and finally Donald Ross built the current 36-hole course. The club grounds crew maintains two courses, the North and the South Course. The head pro is Josh Upson. Centennial Park Golf Centre is a 27-hole executive length golf course located in Southern Ontario on the border of Etobicoke and Mississauga. The facility also features a driving range, putting green, chipping green and an 18-hole mini-golf course. The golf course is privately owned but open to the public. They operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Their hours of operation are generally within 30 mins of sunrise and sunset, weather permitting. Although weather dictates the season, the course generally opens around the beginning of April and closes the beginning of December.
