Bullet is the independent debut full-length album by Mat Kearney.
Recording took place at Bridge Street Studios and Dark Horse Recording in Nashville by Kearney's producer and friend Robert Marvin. [2] Bullet contains new compositions of four songs from Kearney's 2003 hip-hop EP West In November; "Bullet", "Girl America", "Poor Boy", and "Tomorrow" were significantly restructured and reworked for this release. "Bullet" and "Girl America" received further subtle remixing for inclusion on Kearney's 2006 major label debut, Nothing Left to Lose , along with then-new song "In the Middle". Songs "Undeniable", "Renaissance", and "Won't Back Down" appear on the subsequent 2006 album without any modifications from their initial release on Bullet in 2004.
The album was released on compact disc via Inpop Records, and digitally by EMI Publishing Group. Two covers with the same photograph of Kearney exist, each with different fonts, colors, and title placement. [2]

Like a Rock is the thirteenth studio album by American singer-songwriter Bob Seger, released in 1986. The title track is best known for being featured in Chevrolet truck commercials throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. "Fortunate Son" is a live cover of the 1969 Creedence Clearwater Revival hit, recorded March 31, 1983 at Cobo Hall in Detroit. It was originally available only as the B-side of the "American Storm" single, and was added as a bonus track to the CD release of the album. The vinyl version ends with "Somewhere Tonight". The song "Miami" is featured in an episode of the TV series Miami Vice. This is the first studio album credited to "Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band" that doesn't feature the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section replacing the Silver Bullet Band on any tracks.

City of Black & White is the third studio album by Mat Kearney. Released on May 19, 2009, it follows his 2006 major-label debut, Nothing Left to Lose. The first single, "Closer to Love", was released on March 10, 2009, as a digital download. To promote the album, Kearney toured with Keane and the Helio Sequence. On the day of its release, the bonus track version peaked at #7 on the iTunes Top Albums, and the standard version peaked at #19. Kearney wrote the title track while traveling in Turkey. He explained that this song "was born on a ferry as I crossed the Bosphorus River, which splits Istanbul in two.". "Fire & Rain" was also released as a digital download to MySpace the week of the album release. Immediately after the album was released, "Lifeline" was used in commercial advertisement for season 3 of Lifetime Television's Army Wives. The commercial has been aired not only on Lifetime but ABC as well.
