Charles Arthur Floyd, nicknamed Pretty Boy Floyd, was an American bank robber. He operated in the West and Central states, and his criminal exploits gained widespread press coverage in the 1930s. He was seen positively by the public because it was believed that during robberies he burned mortgage documents, freeing many people from their debts. He was pursued and killed by a group of Bureau of Investigation agents led by Melvin Purvis. Historians have speculated as to which officers were at the event, but accounts document that local officers Robert "Pete" Pyle and George Curran were present at his fatal shooting and also at his embalming. Floyd has continued to be a familiar figure in American popular culture, sometimes seen as notorious, other times portrayed as a tragic figure, even a victim of the hard times of the Great Depression in the United States.

Paw was an American rock band from Lawrence, Kansas, that was formed in 1990. The band's original line-up consisted of vocalist Mark Hennessy, guitarist Grant Fitch, bassist Charles Bryan, and drummer Peter Fitch. They released two studio albums – Dragline and Death To Traitors, the B-side and outtake collection Keep The Last Bullet For Yourself and the EP Home Is a Strange Place before disbanding in 2000. A Bullet for Pretty Boy was an American metalcore band from Longview, Texas. The band started making music in 2006. The band released an independently made album, Beauty in the Eyes of the Beholder, in 2008. They signed to Razor & Tie and Artery Recordings, where they released, Revision:Revise, a studio album, in 2010. Their subsequent studio album, Symbiosis, was released by Razor & Tie alongside Artery Recordings, in 2012. The band is on hiatus as of 2015, with vocalist Danon Saylor forming a new band with For Today and Silent Planet members called Nothing Left.

Nothing Left is an American supergroup that formed in 2016. The band played their first shows in Europe.
