Bunk Bed is a comedy radio programme on BBC Radio 4 hosted by Peter Curran and Patrick Marber. The programme features the hosts lying in bunk beds, discussing various topics. [1] In some episodes, they are joined by a guest on the "pull-out mattress" - these have included Kathy Burke, Don Warrington, Cate Blanchett, Benjamin Zephaniah, Rhys Ifans, Jane Horrocks, Guy Garvey & Rachael Stirling. [2]
It was described as "slightly weird" by Kate Chisholm, [3] and was praised by Miranda Sawyer as being "strange, funny, silly, enchanting, beautifully put together". [4] The seventh series began its broadcast on 6 January 2021, on BBC Radio 4. [2] [5] The programme was a finalist in the New York Festivals in April 2020. [6] The ninth series began on 12 January 2022, with Harry Shearer a guest in episodes 2 and 3. [7]

The News Quiz is a British topical panel game broadcast on BBC Radio 4.

Springwatch, Autumnwatch and Winterwatch, sometimes known collectively as The Watches, are annual BBC television series which chart the fortunes of British wildlife during the changing of the seasons in the United Kingdom. The programmes are broadcast live from locations around the country in a primetime evening slot on BBC Two. They require a crew of 100 and over 50 cameras, making them the BBC's largest British outside broadcast events. Many of the cameras are hidden and operated remotely to record natural behaviour, for example, of birds in their nests and badgers outside their sett.
Scott Mills is a Sony Radio Academy Award-winning radio show, broadcast Monday – Thursday afternoons on BBC Radio 1 from 1–3:30 pm. On Fridays, Mills hosts The Official Chart from 4–6pm. Peter Curran is a publisher, radio producer, writer, documentary maker and broadcaster. He grew up in Belfast, the eldest of six children and worked on funfairs in the USA before moving to London, working as a carpenter then re-training as a BBC reporter. In 1992 he began DJing full-time for the London radio station BBC GLR. He co-founded audio publisher Talking Music in 2012, publishing books on Eminem, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Glam rock, Acid house, Adele, The Clash and others, written and read by authors such as Charles Shaar Murray, Jane Bussmann and Barney Hoskyns. In 2018, he was commissioned by the Imperial War Museum/14-18 NOW to explore the role of Ireland's borderland communities in the First World War for The Art of Border Living, featuring BBC documentaries and commissioned short story podcasts from Irish authors. With co-writer Patrick Marber, Curran created Bunk Bed, a series of bizarre late-night conversations recorded in beds and in the dark, featuring music, archive speech and occasional guests such as Cate Blanchett and Benjamin Zephaniah. First broadcast in April 2014 on BBC Radio 4, Series 9 was aired in January 2022 with guest Harry Shearer. In interviews, Curran describes himself as 'a failed drummer'

Do the Right Thing was a comedy panel show podcast featuring host Danielle Ward, and team captains Michael Legge and Margaret Cabourn-Smith. The show was produced by Ben Walker. Late Night Woman's Hour (LNWH) is a late-night edition of the long-running, BBC Radio 4 programme Woman's Hour. It started in 2015 with a one-month pilot run, scheduled twice-weekly on Thursday and Friday at 11 pm for one hour. The presenters for this first run were Lauren Laverne and Jane Garvey who led panels of five guests in discussion of a particular topic such as fan fiction or lust. Lauren Laverne then became the permanent host when the programme started a regular schedule in 2016, being scheduled as a monthly podcast which was then broadcast on Radio 4 at 11 pm on the last Thursday of each month.
