Buried in the Front Yard is the debut full-length studio album by thrash metal band Rumpelstiltskin Grinder.
Rumpelstiltskin is a fairytale popularly associated with Germany. The tale was one collected by the Brothers Grimm in the 1812 edition of Children's and Household Tales. According to researchers at Durham University and the NOVA University Lisbon, the story originated around 4,000 years ago. However, many biases lead to take the results of this study with caution.
Murmur is the debut studio album by American alternative rock band R.E.M., released on April 12, 1983 by I.R.S. Records. Murmur drew critical acclaim upon its release for its unusual sound, defined by lead singer Michael Stipe's cryptic lyrics, guitarist Peter Buck's jangly guitar style, and bass guitarist Mike Mills' melodic basslines.
Discipline is the eighth studio album by English progressive rock band King Crimson, released on September 22, 1981 by E.G. Records in the United Kingdom and by Warner Bros. Records in the United States. This album was King Crimson's first album following a seven-year hiatus. Only founder Robert Fripp and later addition Bill Bruford remained from previous incarnations. The rest of the band were American musicians Adrian Belew and Tony Levin. The album resulted in a more updated 1980s new wave-oriented sound.
"One" is a song by American heavy metal band Metallica. It was released as the third and final single from their fourth studio album, ...And Justice for All (1988). Written by band members James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, "One" is an anti-war song that portrays a World War I soldier who is severely wounded — arms and legs blown off by a landmine, blind and unable to speak or move — begging God to take his life. His only hope is to devise a way to communicate with the hospital staff. In the music video, he jolts in the hospital bed, spelling "Kill me" in Morse code. Production of the song was done by the band alongside Flemming Rasmussen. The song was the band's first top 40 hit single in the U.S., reaching number 35 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was also a number one hit in Finland.
Windir was a black metal band from Sogndal, Norway. The band was formed in 1994 by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Terje "Valfar" Bakken, and released its debut album Sóknardalr in 1997. Windir combined black metal with Scandinavian folk music, folklore and mythology, and many of the band's lyrics are written in Sognamål. Windir produced four albums in their almost ten years of existence. The band broke up in March 2004 after frontman Valfar died of hypothermia after becoming caught in a blizzard on his way to his family's cabin in Norway. Following his death, the remaining band members went on to form a number of new bands including Vreid, Mistur, and Cor Scorpii.
Absu is an American extreme metal band from Dallas, Texas. Their demos and first album leaned towards death metal, but evolved more towards a black metal and thrash metal style which includes elements of Celtic and folk music which the band calls "Mythological Occult Metal". Their lyrical themes are esoteric, including themes of Celtic, Sumerian and Mesopotamian myths and legends, alchemy, numerology, magick, and sorcery.

Relapse Records is an American independent record label based in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. It was founded by Matthew F. Jacobson in 1990. The label features many grindcore, death metal, and sludge metal artists.
"Highway Star" is a song by the English rock band Deep Purple. It is the opening track on their 1972 album Machine Head and is the fastest song in tempo on the album. It is characterised by long, classically-inspired guitar and organ solos. Organist Jon Lord claimed that the organ and guitar solos were based on Bach-like chord sequences.
Skin Yard is the first studio album by the band Skin Yard. In January 1987, 1400 vinyl copies were released by C/Z Records, mostly on translucent sand-colored vinyl, the rest on standard black vinyl to be played by radio DJs. This recording was the first engineering project by Jack Endino who was also the band's guitarist. Endino went on to record many of the most successful grunge records in Seattle.

"Gett Off" is a song written and produced by American musician Prince for his thirteenth album Diamonds and Pearls (1991). The album was his first with his backing band The New Power Generation. "Gett Off" was released as the lead single from Diamonds and Pearls in June 1991. The cover uses a face drawn in place of the first letter in the word Off and Prince's name written in reverse.
Rumpelstiltskin Grinder was a crossover thrash band from the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. They first released their live album "Raped by Bears". After that they released a single song split 7" entitled "Equipment Crusher" with Jumbo's Kill Crane on Red Candle Records. They then released a live CDR entitled Raped By Bears-Live At The Dungeon 6/21/03. Their debut album Buried In The Front Yard was released on Relapse Records. Their second album entitled Living for Death, Destroying the Rest was released in January 2009. RsG played their first North American tour that year.
Diamonds and Rain is the second studio album from Christian alternative rock band The Choir, released in 1986. It is the first release under the band's new moniker after dropping "Youth" from their name.
"Born Under a Bad Sign" is a blues song recorded by American blues singer and guitarist Albert King in 1967. Called "a timeless staple of the blues", the song also had strong crossover appeal to the rock audience with its synchronous bass and guitar lines and topical astrology reference. "Born Under a Bad Sign" became an R&B chart hit for King and numerous blues and other musicians have made it perhaps the most recorded Albert King song.
Stay Sick! is the fourth studio album by the American garage punk band the Cramps. It was released on February 12, 1990 by Enigma Records. Recorded at Music Grinder in Hollywood, California, the album was self-produced by Cramps guitarist Poison Ivy and engineered by Steve McMillan. It was the last studio album to feature founding drummer Nick Knox.
Symphony For The Devil is Witchery's third full-length studio album after Restless & Dead in 1998 and Dead, Hot And Ready in 1999. It was released in 2001 and has received underground acclaim from metal fanzines and webzines. The album continues in Witchery's previous style, with thrash metal riffing and solos, but with a black and death metal influence. This album has Martin Axe of Opeth on drums, after the departure of Mique. The reissue of the album in 2007 uses slightly different cover art.
Grinder's Switch featuring Garland Jeffreys is the debut album of Garland Jeffreys and Grinder's Switch. It was released by Vanguard Records in 1970. The 1970 version issued in France used the name Grinder's Switch. The CD releases use the name Garland Jeffreys and Grinder's Switch. It was produced by Lewis Merenstein.
Grinder Blues is a hard rock blues trio that features Doug Pinnick of King's X, guitarist and vocalist Jabo Bihlman and Scot "Little" Bihlman on drums, percussion and vocals.
Gothica is the thirteenth studio album by the melodic hard rock band Ten. The album was released on 7 July 2017. The album was mixed and mastered by Dennis Ward, while the cover was illustrated by Stan W. Decker. The first single from the album, the track "Paragon", was released on 26 May, while the second one "La Luna Dra-Cu-La", was released on 23 June. The first official music video for "Gothica", was for the track "Travellers", on the 3rd of July 2017, while "Jekyll And Hyde", the second official music video from the album, was released on the 1st of August, 2017. The album proved to be another successful release for the band, reaching the 11th position on BBC's Rock Albums Charts.
