Black Sheep Boy Appendix is an EP by indie band Okkervil River released on November 22, 2005. This mini-album is a continuation of their 2005 release, Black Sheep Boy and is a compilation of unfinished and reworked songs from that album. The disc also includes "Another Radio Song," a re-recorded and lyrically altered version of "For the Captain," a song featured on the band's 1999 debut release, Stars Too Small to Use. "Black Sheep Boy #4" is a re-recorded and lyrically altered version of "Disfigured Cowboy," originally released on the Comes With a Smile issue #11 CD sampler, and was played on an episode of Cold Case.

"My Father My King" is a song by Scottish post-rock band Mogwai, which was released as a single in October 2001. Over 20 minutes long, and billed as a companion piece to the album Rock Action, a sticker on the cover of the single describes it as "two parts serenity and one part death metal". The song is regularly used to end Mogwai concerts – most recently, in 2015, it was the finale of all six of the band's 20th anniversary shows – and was often extended in length.

It produced four singles on the country charts: "This One's for the Girls" at #3, "In My Daughter's Eyes" at #4, "How Far" at #12 and "God's Will" at #16. "This One's for the Girls", which featured backing vocals from Faith Hill, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, and McBride's two daughters, was also McBride's first and only Number One hit on the Adult Contemporary charts. Pop girl group Girl Authority covered "This One's for the Girls" for their second album Road Trip.
Old Dogs was an American country music supergroup composed of singers Waylon Jennings, Mel Tillis, Bobby Bare, and Jerry Reed. Signed in 1998 to Atlantic Records, Old Dogs recorded a self-titled studio album for the label that year. The album's content was written primarily by author, poet, and songwriter Shel Silverstein. Most of the group's songs were based on the realization of aging, after Bare told Silverstein that there were "no good songs about growing old." The album was recorded live in studio, so audience applause can be heard between the tracks. The two discs come in different cases, and has different album art for them. The album was also issued as a single disc. "Still Gonna Die" was released as a single from the project.

The Original Wicked Lester Sessions is a bootleg release of Wicked Lester's 1972 album for Epic records. Recorded at Electric Lady Studio in NYC producer Ron Johsen created a unique work in progress production which was not fully developed in concept. The album was recorded over a period of months when time was available at Jimi Hendrix's newly built studio Electric Lady. Wicked Lester members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons left soon after the album was completed and formed another group with a more rock-oriented focus, soon recruiting drummer Peter Criss and guitarist Ace Frehley and changing the newer group's name to Kiss. Original drummer Tony Zarrella & Brooke Ostrander (keyboards) attempted to keep the band together to fully actualize its new sound development. Epic Records believed Wicked Lester was on the edge of a unique sound & was dedicated to supporting the project.
