Strong Bad Sings (and Other Type Hits) is a compilation album featuring songs by Strong Bad and other characters from the Homestar Runner web cartoon series. Strong Bad Sings is the sole audio CD spinoff from the online cartoon world of homestarrunner.com. The songs represent various pastiches of popular music, such as glam metal, folk, hip hop, techno and indie rock.
The Vanity Project is an album released as a side project by Steven Page, then of the band Barenaked Ladies (BNL). It is also the artist name under which the album was released. Its first two singles, "That's All, That's All" and "Wilted Rose", were released in early May 2005; only the latter song had a music video, which was animated.
Dream Street is the second studio album by American musician Janet Jackson, released in September 1984, by A&M Records. More pop than her debut album's "bubblegum soul" feel, the album was not the runaway success that Janet's father Joseph thought it would be, peaking at No. 147 on the Billboard 200 in 1984. The album did have one modest hit for Jackson, the Top 10 R&B single, "Don't Stand Another Chance", produced by brother Marlon. Dødheimsgard is a Norwegian extreme metal band formed in 1994. Dødheimsgard originally played black metal, but 1999's 666 International saw them change their style into experimental and avant-garde/industrial metal. In 2000, they shortened their name to DHG.

Lite Me Up is a pop album with a strong disco-funk feel by Herbie Hancock. It was Hancock's twenty-eighth album and first release without producer David Rubinson since 1969. On this album, Hancock was influenced by his long-time friend, producer Quincy Jones and sessions included many musicians associated with Jones including Steve Lukather and Jeff Porcaro of Toto. The album was the first on which Hancock played the Synclavier, a digital polyphonic synthesizer.
Back to Avalon is the sixth studio album by American singer-songwriter Kenny Loggins. Released in 1988, it yielded the hit singles "Nobody's Fool ", "I'm Gonna Miss You", "Tell Her", and "Meet Me Half Way", the last of which is a ballad which had already become a top 40 hit the previous year through the film Over the Top. It was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America on December 9, 1998 for selling 500,000 copies in the US alone.

Reservations for Two is a studio album by the American singer Dionne Warwick. It was recorded during the spring of 1987 and released on July 30 of that year. Her eighth album for Arista Records, it was again executive produced by label head Clive Davis. Warwick reteamed with Barry Manilow and the duo Burt Bacharach and Carole Bayer Sager to work on the album, while Kashif, Jerry Knight, Howard Hewett and Smokey Robinson also contributed to the tracks.

Something to Talk About is the twenty-second studio album by Canadian country pop artist Anne Murray. It was released by Capitol Records in 1986. The album is so named after the Shirley Eikhard-composed song "Something to Talk About", which Murray had wanted to record for the album but was rejected by her producers; Bonnie Raitt went on to have a huge hit with the song.
