Byron High School is a public high school located in Byron, Minnesota, United States. The current building was completed in 2006. [4]

Awards

In 2011, Byron High School won the National Blue Ribbon award for school excellence, becoming the first school in Southeastern Minnesota to win the award. The school scored in the top ten percent on reading, writing, and math standardized tests, and routinely exceeded state average scores on the ACT, according to the principal at the time, Mike Duffy. [5] [6] In the same year, the school won the Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals' (MASSP) Star of Innovation award. [7]

The school also won the INTEL award in 2011, earning a $10,000 grant. [8]
