The Cagayan Valley Rising Suns were a professional men's volleyball team. The team was owned by the family of Alvaro Antonio [1] (governor [2] of the Province of Cagayan, 2007 to 2016) and was managed [3] by his daughter, [4] Criselda Antonio (the incumbent mayor of Alcala, Cagayan and provincial sports coordinator [5] for the Province of Cagayan), herself, a former volleyball player.

The Cagayan Valley Lady Rising Suns were a professional women's volleyball team that played in various tournaments, including the Shakey's V-League and the Philippine Super Liga (PSL). The team was owned by the family of Alvaro Antonio and managed by his daughter, Criselda Antonio, herself, a former volleyball player.


The PLDT Home Fibr Hitters is a professional men's volleyball team owned by PLDT. It was established in 2013 and originally consisted of men's and women's teams. In 2018, the women's team became merged with the Smart Giga Hitters. The men's team has been playing in the Spikers' Turf since October 2018.

The 2014 PSL Grand Prix was the second tournament of the Philippine Super Liga for its 2014 season. The tournament ran from October 18, 2014 to November 30, 2014. The tournament's major sponsor was Asics. FIVB Referees Commission director Mohammed Hassan was the guest of honor of the opening ceremony held in Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

The Shakey's V-League 11th Season: Reinforced Open Conference was the 21st conference of Shakey's V-League which began on October 5, 2014.

Aleona Denise "Dindin" Antonio Santiago-Manabat is a Filipino volleyball player. She played in the UAAP during her collegiate years for the NU Lady Bulldogs and started her professional career in the Philippine Super Liga as the first overall pick in the 2014 season for Petron Blaze Spikers.

The Shakey's V-League teams present all the teams that have participated in the Shakey's V-League from 2004 to 2016. The league was renamed Premier Volleyball League (PVL) in 2017. The men's division became the Spikers' Turf in 2015 and folded into the PVL as its men's division in 2017.

Marck Jesus Paguirigan Espejo is a Filipino volleyball athlete currently playing for FC Tokyo, his second stint in V.League. He is a member of the Philippines men's national volleyball team and played collegiate volleyball with Ateneo de Manila University.

Rosemarie Vargas is a Filipino volleyball player of the collegiate varsity volleyball team of Far Eastern University that plays in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. Rosemarie also plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers in the Premier Volleyball League that debuted during the 2017 PVL Reinforced Conference.

The Premier Volleyball League teams are all the teams that have participated in the Premier Volleyball League in the Philippines since the 2017 season. The league was formerly known as the Shakey's V-League prior to 2017.

Marivic Velaine Morelos Meneses is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for the Cignal HD Spikers in the Premier Volleyball League. She was a member of the Philippines women's national under-23 volleyball team which competed in the 2015 Asian Women's U23 Volleyball Championship.
