The Instituto Estetico Manila Volley Masters are a former professional men's volleyball team playing in various tournaments, including the Philippine Super Liga (PSL) and the Spikers' Turf. The team was owned by Instituto Estetico Manila, a dental and dermatological clinic.
In 2014, the team joined the Philippine Super Liga in its 2014 All-Filipino Conference. This was followed by its participation in the inaugural men's tournament of the Shakey's V-League, where it emerged as that league's first men's champion. [1]
Cosmetic surgeon Reyvic Cerilles established a women's volleyball team in 2001 which took part in the two-woman tournament Club 650. Cerilles named it after Instituto Estetico Manila, his own clinic. The team became inactive in 2005. In 2011, the IEM volleyball team was revived as a men's side which went on to participate in club tournaments abroad such as in Thailand and Malaysia. [2] In 2014, the team was invited to join the Philippine Super Liga. [3] IEM also joined the Spikers' Turf.

The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is a women's professional volleyball league in the Philippines organized by Sports Vision Management Group, Inc. The league began in 2004 as the Shakey's V-League (SVL), a women's collegiate league. In 2017 the league was renamed into Premier Volleyball League. From 2011 to 2020, the league was open to participation of corporate clubs and other non-collegiate teams. The league status turned professional in 2021.
The Philippine Super Liga was a non-professional corporate club women's volleyball league in the Philippines. It was first organized by SportsCore Event Management and Consultancy, Inc. and later owned by Athletic Events & Sports Management Group (ACES), Inc. The league was envisioned to provide former collegiate players a league with which they can continue with their volleyball career.
The V-League is a collegiate volleyball league for both men and women in the Philippines organized by Sports Vision.
Michele Theresa Imperial Gumabao is a Filipino volleyball player and beauty pageant titleholder. She is currently signed to the Creamline Cool Smashers of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), and has previously played for teams in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL). She was named "Best opposite spiker" five times in her professional career and was the Finals MVP in the 2016 Shakey's V-League Reinforced Conference.
The Cignal HD Spikers is a professional women's volleyball team in the Philippines. The club is owned by Cignal TV, Inc., a subsidiary of MediaQuest Holdings, Inc., a PLDT company.
The PLDT Home Fibr Hitters, or the PLDT Volleyball Club is a former professional men's volleyball team owned by PLDT. It was established in 2013 and originally consisted of men's and women's teams. In 2018, the women's team became merged with the Smart Giga Hitters. The men's team has been playing in the Spikers' Turf since October 2018.

Rachel Anne Lopez Daquis is a Filipino volleyball player. She graduated from the Far Eastern University where she took up Business Management. She was also the team captain of the PLDT HOME TVolution women's team that played in the 2014 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship. She is a former team captain of the FEU Lady Tamaraws in her collegiate years, where she was given the title "Queen Tamaraw". She played in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL) with the Cignal HD Spikers and is the PSL's brand ambassador for 2018 to 2019. In 2020, her team Cignal HD Spikers transfers to Premier Volleyball League.
The PayMaya High Flyers or the PLDT Volleyball Club were a professional women's volleyball team.
The 2014 PSL Grand Prix was the second tournament of the Philippine Super Liga for its 2014 season. The tournament ran from October 18, 2014 to November 30, 2014. The tournament's major sponsor was Asics. FIVB Referees Commission director Mohammed Hassan was the guest of honor of the opening ceremony held in Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
