The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is a women's professional volleyball league in the Philippines organized by Sports Vision Management Group, Inc. The league began in 2004 as the Shakey's V-League (SVL), a women's collegiate league. In 2017 the league was renamed into Premier Volleyball League. From 2011 to 2020, the league was open to participation of corporate clubs and other non-collegiate teams. The league status turned professional in 2021.
The Philippine Super Liga was a non-professional corporate club women's volleyball league in the Philippines. It was first organized by SportsCore Event Management and Consultancy, Inc. and later owned by Athletic Events & Sports Management Group (ACES), Inc. The league was envisioned to provide former collegiate players a league with which they can continue with their volleyball career.
The V-League is a collegiate volleyball league for both men and women in the Philippines organized by Sports Vision.
Michele Theresa Imperial Gumabao is a Filipino volleyball player and beauty pageant titleholder. The 2018 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference was the fourth conference of the Premier Volleyball League. Conference will start on April 27, 2018 with a Grand Fans Day at the Trinoma Activity Center, Quezon City, 9 days before its opening ceremonies and games on May 6, 2018 at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan City, Philippines. PLDT returns as PayMaya after two years of absence in the league and newcomer teams, Tacloban Fighting Warays and Petro Gazz Angels are expected to join the league.
Teams will play a single round robin in the preliminary round. The top two teams after the preliminary round will automatically enter the semifinals round. The bottom teams after the preliminary round will play a single round robin to determine the two teams that will advance to the semifinals round.
