The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers was a professional women's volleyball club that played in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL) and the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). The team was owned by F2 Logistics Philippines, Inc.

History

Philippine Superliga (2016–2021)

The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers was formed by F2 Logistics Philippines Inc. It debuted in the Philippine Superliga (PSL) in 2016.^[1]^[2] F2 Logistics won five conference titles in the PSL.^[3]

F2 Logistics was also a consistent participant of the Beach Volleyball Challenge Cup, the league's beach volleyball tournament.^[4]

Premier Volleyball League (2022–2023)

Move to the PVL and hiatus

On March 11, 2021, the team announced it has joined the professional Premier Volleyball League (PVL), following the exodus of other PSL teams to the PVL.^[5] On July 9, 2021, the team announced that it will not participate in the Open Conference citing injuries and lack of training due to difficulties maintaining their training bubble.^[6]

The indoor volleyball team would not have any competitive games starting March 2020.^[7]

Playing years and disbandment

In November 2021, the Cargo Movers returned to competitive volleyball when they took part and win the inaugural 2021 PNVF Champions League.^[7]

F2 Logistics would make their PVL debut at the 2022 Open Conference and went on to play in four more conferences in two seasons, including a bronze in the 2023 First All-Filipino Conference.^[8]

On December 13, 2023, the team's disbandment was announced.^[9] The associated franchise was not sold rendering its players as free agents.^[10]

The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is the top-level professional women's volleyball league in the Philippines organized by the Sports Vision Management Group, Inc. The PVL was established in 2004 as the inter-collegiate Shakey's V-League (SVL) until it rebranded to the current entity in 2017. Tyler-Marie Kalei Mau is a professional Filipino-American volleyball player. She is currently a member of the Philippines women's national team. She debuted in the Philippines with the United Volleyball Club in the Philippine Super Liga.

The 2021 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference was the tenth conference of the Premier Volleyball League and its first conference as a professional league. The conference started on July 17, 2021 and ended on August 13, 2021, at the PCV Socio-Civic and Cultural Center in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte in a bubble. The PVL has been approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) to begin team practices to be followed by the official start of the 2021 season.

Roselyn Doria is a Filipina volleyball player. She currently plays for the Cignal HD Spikers volleyball team. She is a member of the Philippines women's national volleyball team that competed in the 2019 ASEAN Grand Prix.

The Philippine National Volleyball Federation sent representative teams in the 2021 Asian Men's and Women's Club Volleyball Championships under the name of Rebisco and Choco Mucho, brands of its sponsor Republic Biscuit Corporation. The teams don't belong to a domestic league with its players derived from the pool of the Philippine men's and women's national teams.

George Pascua is a Filipino volleyball coach who is the head coach of the Adamson Soaring Falcons' men's volleyball team. He was the head coach of the PLDT High Speed Hitters during the 2022 season of the Premier Volleyball League. He was also a longtime coach of the Far Eastern University's women's volleyball team and a former player of the university's men's team.

Djanel Welch Cheng is a Filipino volleyball player. She is currently playing for the Petro Gazz Angels in the Premier Volleyball League.

Mary Remy Joy Palma is a Filipino volleyball player. She played for the FEU Lady Tamaraws in the UAAP women's volleyball tournaments. She is currently playing for the Petro Gazz Angels in the Premier Volleyball League.

Iris Janelle Tolenada is a professional Filipino volleyball athlete who plays as a setter for Premier Volleyball League club Capital1 Solar Spikers. She was a member of the San Francisco State Gators in the NCAA Division II.
