Ramil H. de Jesus is a Filipino volleyball coach who is the head coach of the De La Salle University women's volleyball team. De Jesus has won 12 championship titles and 8 runner-up finishes in the UAAP as head coach of the De La Salle University women's volleyball team. As of February 2024, de Jesus has a UAAP win-loss record of 300 wins and 81 losses in his 27 year-stint with the DLSU Lady Spikers. [1] He was also the head coach of the professional club team, F2 Logistics Cargo Movers, from 2016 to 2021, where he tallied 5 championship titles with 4 runners-up finish and 2 bronze medal. [2]

The University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), established in 1938, is an athletic association of eight Metro Manila universities in the Philippines. UAAP Season 70 was the 2007-08 season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines, which was hosted by the University of Santo Tomas. The theme of season 70 was "Winners All, Recreating the Value of Honesty through Sports" It opened on July 7, 2007 at the Araneta Coliseum. De La Salle University returned to active participation after being suspended in Season 69.

The school rivalry between Ateneo de Manila University and De La Salle University began when both educational institutions participated in the National Collegiate Athletic Association of the Philippines (NCAA) and has carried over to the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) where both universities compete in currently.

UAAP Season 73 is the 2010–2011 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. It was hosted by De La Salle University. The men's basketball and the women's volleyball tournaments were aired by ABS-CBN Channel 2 and Studio 23 for the eleventh consecutive year following the renewal of the contract for the broadcast of the games. The opening ceremonies were held on July 10, 2010 with the opening game pitting the season host and the UP Fighting Maroons.

UAAP Season 75 was the 2012–2013 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. The season's theme was "Unbreakable at 75" in relation to the league's diamond year. It was hosted by National University.

UAAP Season 76 is the 2013–2014 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. It was hosted by Adamson University with Fr. Maximino D. Rendon, C.M. as president. There were eight universities that competed in fifteen sports with poomsae, a form in the sport of taekwondo now recognized as a regular sport and included in the general championship tally.

Victonara "Ara" Salas Galang is a multi-awarded, Filipina volleyball player. She was UAAP Rookie of the Year and Best Server during the Season 74 and UAAP Most Valuable Player in the Season 75. She is the former team captain (2014–2015) of the De La Salle University Lady Spikers.

Charleen Abigaile "Cha" Ramos Cruz-Behag is a Filipino professional volleyball player and an educator. She was a two-time University Athletic Association of the Philippines's (UAAP) Finals Most Valuable Player and was part of the De La Salle University Lady Spikers' four UAAP championships. She is known for her versatility in playing the sport of volleyball earning her the moniker "Ms. Everything".

The De La Salle University Lady Spikers are the women's collegiate varsity volleyball team of the De La Salle University. They compete in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP).

Ernestine Grace Tiamzon is a Filipino-Canadian former volleyball athlete. She was a varsity player of the De La Salle University collegiate women's volleyball team. After her collegiate stint, she played for the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers.

The UST Lady Booters football team represents the University of Santo Tomas in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) football tournament. UST has made 11 Finals appearances and won two championships since the women's football tournament began in the league in 1995. Their head coach as of August 9, 2015 is former Lady Booter Aging Rubio.

The UST Golden Tigresses are the women's collegiate varsity volleyball team of the University of Santo Tomas. They compete in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). Their current head coach is the former Golden Spiker Kungfu Reyes who is also the coach of their junior girls’ volleyball program.

The UAAP Season 80 volleyball tournaments started on September 9, 2017 with the junior tournaments. The games were played at the Filoil Flying V Centre, Mall of Asia Arena, Smart Araneta Coliseum and the Blue Eagle Gym. It is also sub-hosted by National University.

George Pascua is a Filipino volleyball coach who is the head coach of the Adamson Soaring Falcons' men's volleyball team. He was the head coach of the PLDT High Speed Hitters during the 2022 season of the Premier Volleyball League. He was also a longtime coach of the Far Eastern University's women's volleyball team and a former player of the university's men's team.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">UAAP Season 85</span> University athletics in the Philippines

UAAP Season 85 was the 2022–23 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). Season 85 theme is "Rise as One", and the season host was the Adamson University. With just seven events in Season 84, the collegiate league will be bringing back the full athletic calendar of events for Season 85.

The women's volleyball tournament of UAAP Season 68 ran from July 17, 2006, to September 17, 2007, at various locations within Metro Manila which include Adamson University Gym in San Marcelino St., Ermita, Manila.
