The UAAP Season 70 volleyball tournaments opened December 1, 2007 and ended March 2, 2008. The tournament host is University of the Philippines . Tournament games were held at the Ateneo de Manila Blue Eagle Gym, Rizal Memorial Coliseum, Ninoy Aquino Stadium and University of the East Gymnasium.

This led her to cease as a De La Salle student, breaking UAAP rules that a player must be enrolled to the school the person represents. [1]

The University Athletic Association of the Philippines Season 73 basketball tournaments are the basketball events of UAAP's 2010-11 season. The basketball season began on July 10, 2010 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City with an opening ceremony hosted by De La Salle University, followed by a couple of men's basketball games. Hosts De La Salle Green Archers defeated the UP Fighting Maroons, and the UST Growling Tigers defeated the UE Red Warriors in the last game of the day.

The seniors' division of the UAAP Season 74 volleyball tournaments opened November 26, 2011. Tournaments are hosted by Ateneo de Manila University. Tournament games are held at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan City.

UAAP Season 75 was the 2012–2013 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. The season's theme was "Unbreakable at 75" in relation to the league's diamond year. It was hosted by National University.

UAAP Season 76 is the 2013–2014 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. It was hosted by Adamson University with Fr. Maximino D. Rendon, C.M. as president. There were eight universities that competed in fifteen sports with poomsae, a form in the sport of taekwondo now recognized as a regular sport and included in the general championship tally.

The basketball tournaments of UAAP Season 76 were held in school year 2013-14. Adamson University was both season host and basketball tournaments host. As season host, Adamson was the producer of the opening ceremony on June 29, 2013. As to being tournament host, Adamson was responsible for the scheduling of games, booking of game venues and distribution of game tickets to member schools. The other responsibility of Adamson as tournament host was the nomination of a basketball tournament commissioner to the UAAP Board for approval.

UAAP Season 78 was the 2015–2016 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). It opened on September 5, 2015, almost two months after the usual July opening of the league during previous seasons, due to the shift in the academic calendars of four member universities, i.e. Ateneo, La Salle, UP and UST. It was hosted by the University of the Philippines.

The UAAP Season 78 basketball tournaments are held in school year 2015-16. University of the Philippines Diliman is the season host. The basketball tournaments started with a doubleheader basketball games after the opening ceremonies on September 5, 2015, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum and ended on December 2, 2015, at the Mall of Asia Arena, while the junior's basketball has currently been held since November. The UAAP Season 78 high school volleyball tournament started on August 22, 2015. The tournament venue is the Adamson University Gym in San Marcelino St., Ermita, Manila. Adamson is the tournament host. The number of participating schools in the boys' and girls' tournaments both increased to seven. Far Eastern University fielded boys' and girls' volleyball teams beginning season 77. Since there are now seven participating schools, the tournaments have a Final Four format. The UAAP Board decided to move the high school volleyball tournaments from 2nd semester to 1st semester due to the basketball juniors tournament being moved from the 1st semester to 2nd semester.

The UAAP Season 79 volleyball tournaments started on February 4, 2017 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, with the opening games of the men and women's senior volleyball tourneys, participated by 8 regular UAAP members. Aside from the Smart Araneta Coliseum, the games will also be held at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan City and the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay. The tournament host is the University of Santo Tomas, the season's host school.

The UAAP Season 79 basketball tournaments are held in school year 2016–17. University of Santo Tomas is the season host while Far Eastern University are the defending champions. ABS-CBN's UHF channel ABS-CBN Sports and Action broadcast the men's tournament for the seventeenth consecutive year.

The UAAP Season 82 volleyball tournaments started on September 4, 2019 with the junior tournaments and on March 3, 2020 for the senior tournaments. The games were played at the Filoil Flying V Centre, Mall of Asia Arena, Smart Araneta Coliseum, PhilSports Arena and the Blue Eagle Gym. The volleyball tournament commissioner is Noreen Go.

UAAP Season 85 is the 2022–23 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). Season 85 theme is "Rise As One", and the season host is the Adamson University. With just seven events in Season 84, the collegiate league will be bringing back the full athletic calendar of events for Season 85.
