Cydthealee Alivio Demecillo (born December 2, 1993), better known as Cyd Demecillo, is a Filipino volleyball athlete.
Demecillo was born on December 2, 1993 in Cebu, [1] the youngest daughter of Esmael and Imelda Demecillo. Her two other siblings are Cydeshemee and Cydtishamee. [2] Since 2011, the Demecillo sisters are in charge of their family business, the Cydelicious Lechon Manok restaurant. [2] She graduated high school from the University of Southern Philippines Foundation where she played a Middle Hitter. [3] In February 2015, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Sports Studies.
Demecillo was a member of the De La Salle University collegiate women's varsity volleyball team in both indoor and beach volleyball where she played as an Outside Hitter. She debuted in Season 73 of the UAAP as an Open Hitter. She helped her team to win the 2013 PVF Intercollegiate Volleyball Championship. [4] She skipped the following season. After her 5-year eligibility in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines, she finished with three championship titles. During the Season 78 of the UAAP, she suffered an injury in her right knee [5] that kept her out of the court for two weeks, but she returned playing as a libero before returning to the opposite spiker position [6] to contribute to the UAAP Season 78 Championship for De La Salle University. She also played in the 18th Nestea Beach Intercollegiate Beach Volleyball with Kim Fajardo in 2015, replacing Fajardo's previous partner, Ara Galang [9] winning the silver medal after losing 1-2 to the University of Santo Tomas representatives, the Rika Rivera and Cherry Rondina duro. [10] With Kim Fajardo she won the 2015 UAAP's beach volleyball tournament, the first ever for De La Salle University. [11]
During the 2015 Philippine National Games, she was awarded First Best Outside Hitter and won the gold medal with De La Salle University when they defeated College of St. Benilde Lady Blazers. [12] Demecillio played with Meralco Power Spikers in the 2015 Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix Conference [13] and with F2 Logistics Cargo Movers for the 2016 Philippine Super Liga All-Filipino Conference [14] helping that club to win their first Superliga championship. Alyssa Caymo Valdez is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers. She was a member of the collegiate varsity women's volleyball team of Ateneo de Manila University in both indoor and beach volleyball. She was most outstanding as an indoor volleyball player where she brought multiple championship titles and a lot of honor for the university. She is a current member of Philippines national team. Her global recognition paved the way for her to play in other countries like Thailand for 3BB Nakornnont and Taiwan for Attack Line Volleyball Club.
Abigail "Aby" Palmares Maraño is a Filipino professional volleyball player who plays for F2 Logistics Cargo Movers in the Premier Volleyball League.
Victonara "Ara" Salas Galang is a multi-awarded, Filipina volleyball player. She was UAAP Rookie of the Year and Best Server during the Season 74 and UAAP Most Valuable Player in the Season 75. She is the former team captain (2014-2015) of the De La Salle University Lady Spikers.
Maria Rosario "Charo" Soriano is a Filipino volleyball player, coach, and politician. Soriano is one of the founders of Beach Volleyball Republic, an outdoor volleyball tournament, and a board member of the Philippine National Volleyball Federation. She also serves as a city councilor of Tuguegarao since 2022.
Aiza Maizo-Pontillas is a Filipina professional volleyball player. She was a former member and team captain of the UST Golden Tigresses, and a member of the Philippines women's national volleyball team. She led the España-based squad to its 16th and, as of 2018, latest championship in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) league. She was a Shakey's V-League (SVL) three-time Finals and two-time Season Most Valuable Player. Maizo is known for bagging several best-of awards in almost all volleyball skill departments in UAAP and SVL, excluding setting and digging. She is also known as the first Filipina in the entire franchise of SVL to take both Finals and Season MVP in a single conference twice.
Mika Aereen Marcaliñas Reyes is a Filipino volleyball player. She is a Middle Hitter/Blocker and is currently playing in the PVL Premier Volleyball League in the Philippines.
Charleen Abigaile "Cha" Ramos Cruz-Behag is a Filipino professional volleyball player and an educator. She is a member of the Philippine women's national volleyball team. Currently, she is playing and is the team captain for the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers in the Philippine Super Liga, a semi-professional corporate club volleyball league in the Philippines. She was a member of De La Salle University (DLSU) Lady Spikers, the official women's volleyball varsity team of De La Salle University. She was a two-time University Athletic Association of the Philippines's (UAAP) Finals Most Valuable Player and was part of DLSU Lady Spikers' four UAAP championships. She is known for her versatility in playing the sport of volleyball earning her the moniker "Ms. Everything".

Kim Alano Fajardo is a Filipino volleyball athlete. She was the team captain of the De La Salle University women's volleyball team for Season 78 and 79.
Ernestine Grace Tiamzon is a Filipino-Canadian volleyball athlete. She is currently a varsity player of De La Salle University collegiate women's volleyball team. She has also recently joined the semi-pro commercial league Philippine Super Liga under the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers club.
The UAAP Season 78 high school volleyball tournament started on August 22, 2015. The tournament venue is the Adamson University Gym in San Marcelino St., Ermita, Manila. Adamson is the tournament host. The number of participating schools in the boys' and girls' tournaments both increased to seven. Far Eastern University fielded boys' and girls' volleyball teams beginning season 77. Since there are now seven participating schools, the tournaments have a Final Four format. The UAAP Board decided to move the high school volleyball tournaments from 2nd semester to 1st semester due to the basketball juniors tournament being moved from the 1st semester to 2nd semester.
The Nestea Beach Volleyball is a beach volleyball tournament held during the Summer season in the Philippines. Held in the Boracay Beach Chalets, Station 2 in Boracay Island in Aklan, the Nestea Beach Volleyball is the longest-running beach volleyball tournament in the country and the main attraction of the Nestea Love the Beach event in Boracay usually held on April until May or the Labor Day Weekend. It consists into two parts: the Intercollegiate Beach Volleyball tournament featuring collegiate teams from different parts of the country and the Fantasy Match where semi-pro players duel in a beach volleyball exhibition game.
Mary Joy Dela Cruz Baron, also known as Majoy Baron, is a Filipino volleyball player. She went to Concepcion Catholic School in Concepcion, Tarlac. She attended college at De La Salle University. She is currently playing for the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers playing as a middle blocker. Baron is also part of the Philippine National Women's Volleyball Team.

Diana Mae "Tots" Carlos is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers. She was playing with UP Lady Fighting Maroons of the University of the Philippines-Diliman, and a member of both the indoor and beach volleyball collegiate varsity teams of the university. She bagged the back-to-back Most Valuable Player and Best Opposite Spiker in the 2022 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference and 2022 Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference. She is also part of the Philippines women's national volleyball team that competes in the 2022 Asian Women's Volleyball Cup.
