The Motolite Volleyball Team is the professional women's volleyball team playing in the Premier Volleyball League. [1] The team is owned by Philippine Batteries Inc. and named after its subsidiary, Motolite Batteries.

Premier Volleyball League Volleyball league

The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is a women's professional volleyball league in the Philippines organized by Sports Vision Management Group, Inc. The league began in 2004 as the Shakey's V-League, a women's collegiate league with teams coming from the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation (CESAFI), and other associations. Since 2011, the league welcomed the participation of corporate clubs and non-collegiate teams.

History

The team debuted in the Premier Volleyball League in 2018 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference with the Ateneo Lady Eagles Volleyball Team core mentored by Coach Oliver Almadro. [2] In 2019, the team will have a new set of players headed by Myla Pablo. [1]

The 2018 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference is the sixth conference of the Premier Volleyball League. The conference started on September 22, 2018 at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines.

The 2019 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference was the seventh conference of the Premier Volleyball League. Conference started on May 26, 2019. Grand Fans Day was held at the Trinoma Activity Center, Quezon City on April 25, 2019. Games were held at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan City, Philippines. Philippine Army returned as Pacific Town-Army Lady Troopers and Motolite Power Builders returned with a new set of players.

Myla Pablo is a Filipino volleyball player. She was part of the Philippines women's national volleyball team in 2015.

The 2019 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference is the eight conference of the Premier Volleyball League. The conference started on August 11, 2019 and ended on November 9, 2019 at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines. Philippine Air Force Women's Volleyball Team returned in action and two new teams joined the conference named Chef's Classics Lady Red Spikers and Choco Mucho Flying Titans.

Philippine Air Force Womens Volleyball Team

The Philippine Air Force women's volleyball team is the official women's volleyball team of the Philippine Air Force. It competes in various tournaments, including the Premier Volleyball League, where it is known as the Philippine Air Force Jet Spikers and formerly, Philippine Air Force Air Spikers. The team is composed of enlisted personnel and reinforced with civilian players from time to time.

The Creamline Cool Smashers are a professional women's volleyball team playing in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). The team is owned by Republic Biscuit Corporation and named after its Creamline Dairy brand.

Perlas Spikers

The Perlas Spikers are a professional women's volleyball team playing in the Premier Volleyball League. The team is owned by Beach Volleyball Republic.

The 2017 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) season was the first season of the Premier Volleyball League (14th season of the former Shakey's V-League). There were three indoor conferences for this season.

The Premier Volleyball League 1st Season Open Conference is the 2nd conference of the Premier Volleyball League. The conference started on July 1, 2017 at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan City. The tournament will have four new teams; two in the women's division and two in the men's division.

Jessica Margarett "Jema" Casidsid Galanza is a Filipino volleyball athlete player and former captain of the Adamson Soaring Lady Falcons volleyball team in the UAAP. She also played for the Laoag Power Smashers during the 2016 SVL Reinforced Conference and for the Creamline Cool Smashers during the 2017 PVL Reinforced Conference.

Aurea Francesca "Cesca" Racraquin is a Filipino volleyball player of the collegiate varsity volleyball team of San Beda College that plays in the NCAA. Cesca played for the Creamline Cool Smashers in the Premier Volleyball League that debuted during the 2017 PVL Reinforced Conference.

Risa Sato is a Filipino-Japanese volleyball player who is currently living in the Philippines and playing in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines for the NU Lady Bulldogs and in the Premier Volleyball League for the Creamline Cool Smashers.

The following is a list of award recipients of Premier Volleyball League, a collegiate women's volleyball league in the Philippines founded in 2004.

The 2018 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference was the fourth conference of the Premier Volleyball League. Conference will start on April 27, 2018 with a Grand Fans Day at the Trinoma Activity Center, Quezon City, 9 days before its opening ceremonies and games on May 6, 2018 at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan City, Philippines. PLDT returns as PayMaya after two years of absence in the league and newcomer teams, Tacloban Fighting Warays and Petro Gazz Angels are expected to join the league.
Teams will play a single round robin in the preliminary round. The top two teams after the preliminary round will automatically enter the semifinals round. The bottom teams after the preliminary round will play a single round robin to determine the two teams that will advance to the semifinals round.

Chooks-to-Go Tacloban Fighting Warays

The Tacloban Fighting Warays are a professional women's volleyball team in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). The team, sponsored by Chooks-to-Go, debuted in the 2018 PVL Reinforced Conference.

Defending champions University of the Philippines skipped this conference, while reigning University Athletic Association of the Philippines champion Ateneo de Manila University returned after sitting out the 2018 collegiate conference.

Ma. Deanna Izabella Alvizo Wong is a Filipino Visayan volleyball athlete from Cebu, Philippines. She has been a member of the Ateneo de Manila University Lady Eagles, the school's senior women's volleyball team, since her rookie year in 2016. During Season 80 of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) in 2018, she won the Best Setter Award.
